well for about a week kodi has been refusing to show me my tv shows in progress or otherwise unless i go though the file manager and into the actual files .

i ran

mysqlcheck -u username -p  database-name

to check for any errors and everything came back good so its got to be something up with kodi, and bare in mind its happening to me across multiple platforms

Well ive solved it, something wasn't sitting right with me so i deleted my advancedsettings.xml and went back to the internal library.

to my complete and utter amazement it worked perfectly, so i droped my mysql database, put the advancedsettings.xml back re sacnned the library and now everything is working.

so not sure where the problem was as the mysql check reported no problems [emoji53]
