Hello All,
When changing the channel from the TVGuide I get a popup that drives me CRAZY. I know it can be disabled/bypassed, but it has been made less than obvious. I Never want to see this pop up ever. How can I make it go away when switching channels from the TV Guide?



(I dont care about up/down or manual entered channel changes because I never do them)
Now using "Kodi v18.3 Leia".

there is nothing that will do this... the option "Confirm channel switches by pressing OK" only applies to changing channels using up/down keys (I never do this). I use the TVGuide almost exclusively. When browsing the TV Guide, I want to be able to switch to a channel without confirmation.

To stop the info dialog appearing when selecting a channel, you need to change the 'Default Select Action' on the Guide option in the PVR settings. I'm guessing your set-up is currently configured to 'Show Information. You need to change this option to 'Switch to Channel' as shown below :-
