Recorded TV shows has multiple subtitles
#1
When I go to watch any recorded tv shows from my WMC server on my Rpi LibreELEC, when I go to enable Subtitles(closed captions) there are times when nothing comes up. I go into the Subtitles settings and there are multiple options. Ranging from 2 to 4, and it's never the same one. Some are blank, some only have the last subtitle spoken. Is this something I've setup wrong or an issue with the app/addon?

The addon does not support subtitle extraction and kodi does not support the subtitles embedded in wtv files.  I've heard you can use 3rd party software to generate subtitles from wtv files and kodi will use these at playback but I have no experience with it personally.

If kodi nor the addon support subtitles, I wonder where they are coming from then. Because they are working. Just need to be selected everytime you start a new stream.

What I meant is that the addon/serverwmc aren't doing the subtitles, it is the player in kodi itself and I have heard from users that it is hit or miss whether it works with wtv files.
