Apparently movie shuffle can't be turned on. It stays off. I have to switch to Confluence to enable shuffle. Rapier doesn't show this change, either, but kodi shuffles.

Music shuffle seems to work.

Rapier is version 11.2.59 (updated yesterday), Kodi is 18.8, Ubuntu 20.4.

I have no idea what you mean with movie shuffle.

Easy: You can enable shuffle for your movie playlist, as you can for music. Usually. Just click "play" on your TBBT folder, press "c" to show the current playlist, click once on the gear wheel (close to the top left corner) to enter the edit playlist menu, and you will find an option "shuffle".

Problem is, using Rapier it stays off. Even if you turned on shuffle mode using another skin.

Is it the Playlist View for the current playlist you mean?
And the 4 buttons bottom center?

I can see the shuffle button works as expected, but the label for the button is not properly updated.

I have fixed it so the shuffle buttons display the correct label.

Fixed for Kodi Leia and Matrix.

I haven't seen a new version of the skin yet, but using the current Rapier skin on my host the label is not updated, *and* it doesn't shuffle.

You can install my development repo to get the development update.

Using Matrix its gone again. The checkbox for shuffle is stuck at off, and it doesn't shuffle.

Rapier is version 12.2.16

You need the development version for the fix.

You must have rolled Rapier back to 12.2.16 where the fix is NOT included.

Please update Rapier to latest development version and report back.

Nope, shuffle is still broken.

Maybe its the fault of one of Rapier's dependencies?

PS; I nuked the old .kodi directory, imported the zip file, browsed in the new repository for the new Rapier (12.2.25), rebooted kodi, verified the Rapier version number and tried again: Still no shuffle.

Shuffle works perfectly for me.

Please provide exact screenshots and a detailed description of your issue.
