When scrolling my music library, it hangs at an artist or album. Then i look inside the nfo file, and i see this inside:



This is on the biography line. When i remove 

 from the nfo. All seems to be okay.
Oh and sometimes the 

 repeats between words.

How this 

 gets into my nfo files, i have no idea, i never seen it before, also its not all artists and albums that have this 

 in the nfo file. So far i only found 12 artist nfo files containing 

 and like 15 albums nfo.

I'm thinking if your nfo is properly encoded UTF-8 all the text should be stored in sqlite as text not BLOB, but at least for music probably better to ask in the music support forum.

This has happened to me (#x0D;

&#x0A, and it seems to not play nice with the video files that need a manually created nfo file. I used the export lib. command before upgrading to 19 and overwrote all the .nfo files. I also had a custom movie set (in the nfo files for DVD audio/concerts) which would cause kodi to crash whenever it was browsed. It only happened with that custom set though.

is just the way xml does (2) new lines for windows.  I think you get that if you export your nfo file from Kodi but Kodi can read an nfo file with that escape mechanism.  Whatever the problem is, that shouldn't be it.

ok thanks ill try that too. Ive been installing and uninstalling like crazy. Adding sources one by one, back up everything, see if it wont crash. So far all was good, but now i have artwork in its crashing again. The fun is off, it used to be so simple to upgrade to the next version and i understand the python2 had to go, but this for me is frustating. But yes i understand the kodi team, and i do not blame them for anything, its just time consuming to find out why it is doing this. But ill install 18 do an export and then import in 19. Hope this works when using localinfo.
