I have been attempting to use the Pluto.tv pvr addon, but it crashes KODI entirely quite often. Has anyone had them experience? Is there a fix?
It is truly a great idea, but if it crashes the program, I can’t really use it.

I recently tried this backend on the Nvidia Shield and did see some crashes once I had set up a couple of new channel groups via the 'Channel Group Manager'.
Wish the channels were sorted into channel groups by default, rather than having one huge list of channels.
I've also tried the PlutoTV addon in conjunction with IPTV merge and saw no problem using the same channels on the IPTV client.
If you really want to use this backend, then maybe posting a full debug log and details of what platform you are using would help the developers identify any issue more quickly.

I got the same problem today.
Had to completely remove the pvr.plutotv-addon from "addons" and from "addon-data"
Kodi totally froze right after trying to import channels from plutotv-addon and restarted.
It wasn't possible to activate any debug-logging.
