I'm using an X96 android TV box running android 6 with Kodi 19.3, the box has an S905 SOC. All my videos are x264, some of them are 1080p24, some of them are 480p24, and they are being streamed to my device from my PC via Windows Samba share over wifi.
For some reason, whenever I watch video, the framerate is all over the place, and often crashes. Even on old 480p24 movies it will usually crash back into the Kodi menu after ~30 or so minutes. Even my raspberry Pi 1 did not do this, yet this android box that is exponentially stronger does.
Here is the logfile for my most recent stutter-fest. The video did not crash during this log, but it was stuttering horribly. https://paste.kodi.tv/ocuduwafor.kodi
What should I do to figure this out?
