Hi!
is there a way to activate the UPnP server of Kodi without having a user profile logged in?
My problem is as follows:
My media server (Ubuntu 22.04) is also the Kodi client in the living room, which enables the playback on the TV. Since I have small children, there are two user profiles, parents and children, to hide content that is not age-appropriate...
I would like to share the database with other devices via UPnP because it is very performant. I had solved this in the past with SQL but actually want to get away from it, because the UPnP variant is much less complex and therefore error-prone.
But since the UPnP service depends on the user profile, the corresponding user would always have to be logged in to this main Kodi so that other devices can see the database...
Can I somehow start the two UPnP servers of the respective users without the users actually being logged in?
thx guys!
