Kodi game.libretro ROM not visible
#1
Hi all,

I am running a RP3 with Kodi and installed addon game.libretro.uae. When selecting ROMs from a USB stick I can play games. However I now tried to copy over ROMs via SCP to folder /storage/roms/c64 (newly created folder structure) but these files are not visible when selecting games via Kodi. I do not see any file in this folder even though they are there. I tried to change permissions since I thought it might have something to do with permissions for root user and applied: chmod -R 777 /storage/roms/ but still no success. Do you have any idea how to make visible those files??

Hi Stefan,
It sounds like Kodi may not be recognizing the new folder path or file types. Here are some quick steps to try:
1. Check File Path: Ensure Kodi is set to look in /storage/roms/c64 specifically. Sometimes, manually adding the path under Settings > File Manager can help.
2. Supported File Extensions: Make sure the ROM files have the correct file extensions that Kodi and the addon support (e.g., .adf for Amiga ROMs or the specific extensions for C64 ROMs).
3. Restart Kodi: Try restarting Kodi after placing the ROMs in the new folder. Sometimes Kodi needs a reboot to recognize new files.
4. Check Kodi's ROM Path Settings: Within the addon settings, confirm that the directory points to /storage/roms/c64.
C5. lear Cache: Occasionally, Kodi caches file lists, so clearing the cache may help refresh it.
Let me know if these steps work!
