Linux Can't connect to my Nextcloud server through WebDAV.
#1
I first encountered the problem in LibreELEC and then I tried it on Linux desktop and it gave me the same message.

When I go to Videos > Files > Add Videos > Browse > Add network location, I input the following:

 * WebDAV(HTTPS) for the protocol.
 * https://nextcloud.??????.homedrv.com/rem...s/rtevans/ for the server address.
 * Typically nothing for remote path but I've tried "remote.php/webdav" with no results.
 * 443 for the port.
 * My Nextcloud username.
 * And finally my application specific password since I have 2FA enabled.

After I click "OK" it tells me:
Quote:The to the network location couldn't be established. This could be due to the network not being connected. Would you like to add it anyway?
With the location entered in the "Add video source" dialogue window, I click "OK" and I'm prompted with:
Quote:Couldn't retrieve directory information. This could be due to the network not being connected. Would you like to add it anyway
How would the internet not be connected. In the "Add Video Source" window and the actual editing window, I can see that the address it has recorded is "davs://https/<my domain>.com/remote/php/dav/files/<username>:443/remote/php/web..." but that's all I can see. Did I type the web address wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help this.

fwiw the wiki, even though is incomplete and out of date, shows a format of <user>:<pass>@<host>

Thanks. I was able to scroll through the entire web address and it matches the format in that wiki.

FYI, I just tested accessing my server through webdav by an Android app called Simpletask (WebDAV) and it worked. It didn't require the specifically formatted address linked above, just my username, password, and address in different fields. The address looked like  https://my.domain.com/remote.php/dav/files/username/.

Also I can see in the security section of my server settings that the application specific password is being used when I try to access the server from my LibreELEC device or the app. Therefore, something must be wrong on the LibreELEC side of things, whether its a bug or me not using the correct format.

the lack of responses and the lack of information and the fact the wiki says its Archive:WebDAV gives me the impression this is sort of a legacy feature
