it looks less so like a crash and more so lack of system resources on the device
there's a lot of information there to go through but i zoned in on segments that do show kodi start which ends with "ActivityTaskManager: Force finishing activity org.xbmc.kodi/.Main" each time
its not a common message but does explain what happens when kodi closes, the few results i found regarding that had to do with android system killing processes to recover memory
(the one file i was reading was 1+Android+2022-06-11-13.46.11.txt)
Note: start segments will start with ActivityTaskManager: START and show intent as org.xbmc.kodi/.Splash

Thank you for the link, I did have a read of it and it says to disable the wifi which is hard to do as I hotspot from the phone to the device.

It's possible that the Kodi app is not compatible with the specific Android device box you're using. Have you tried contacting the Kodi support team to see if they have any information on this issue? They may be able to provide some guidance on how to troubleshoot or resolve the problem.

Hi, I had the same problem as you with this accessory: CarAiBOX CarPlay Ai Box Qualcomm 6125 8 Core CPU Android 11.0 Wireless CarPlay Android auto
I tested I don't know how many versions of Kodi and the only one that was ok was 17.xx but it doesn't allow you to watch TV in streaming.
In the end I decided to install the latest release (October 2023) from the Playstore and play it...
I made two changes, the first I think is the one that solved the problem, (obviously I don't touch anything anymore)
The first, and it seems stupid but once done, Kodi never closed again, is to go to the Kodi settings,
Go to services and DISABLE the item "Allow control from applications on this device" or the item "Allow remote control from applications on this system"
What is essential is that once this is done you can then go back and close Kodi.
If by chance it crashes before you close it, the flag will still be active the next time you launch it and so it will still be a race against time to disable the entry and close Kodi
It took me a while to do it because it always closed, but once it stayed open a few more seconds it was enough and I was able to make the change
and close Kodi.
I don't remember if, after making the change and closing Kodi, I emptied the Cash, but I don't think so.
So if you have the same problem you will see that this is how you solve it
I'll summarize:
Kodi / Settings:
In Services ->
IF "Allow control from applications on this device" is DISABLED
(it is enabled by default) Kodi works perfectly.
Therefore, the solution is to disable it.
