Need to buy a new video card for my daughters PC so it can run XBMC, what can you recommend (PCIexpress) thats pretty cheap

Ive got the 3650 which is quite simple awesome and thats running on AGP but they do do a PCI-E version which does the same job. Have to say best 40 quid Ive ever spent I have XBMC running at 40% load on me old P4 3.2 HT fantastic card, but you may well need a bigger PSU to get the most out of it, i just bought a 750 watt job for £18 which did just the job. Hope that helps.
