Android Local information scrapper does not work with Android but does with Windows

Hello everyone,

I have recently reinstalled my NVIDIA Shield with a factory reset. When I reinstalled Kodi, I found out that I'm now unable to use the local scrapper to get infos from the NFOs I generate using TinyMediaManager.

I have tested the NFOs on the Windows version of Kodi and everything works properly by default without having to change any parameter.
To be sure I tried another simple configuration:

Code:

Kodi_Movie
   | Test Movie (2019)/
     | Test Movie (2019).mp4
     | Test Movie (2019).nfo

with Kodi_Movie being a movie source (of course I selected the local information scrapper).

NFO config: https://paste.kodi.tv/ulateyiwoz

I did try scrapping it on Windows, it worked without any issue.
It did not on my android version on NVIDIA shield.

I have the latest version installed (20.2) and beside the advancedsettings.xml (which is the same that I use on Windows), I did not change any default settings
Here are the logs: https://paste.kodi.tv/ucixoxuhar.kodi

Can someone help me ? I really can't understand why it's not working

Thanks a lot !

  1. uniqueid is required
  2. there is no difference between android and windows in this regard, it compiles from the same source code
  3. kodi will typically not rescan a folder within 24 hours if the hash has not changed, that's why your log indicates "No New information found"
  4. it is scraper not scrapper
put a unique id in the nfo

remove from kodi completely, easiest is to set the source's content to None and select Yes when it asks to remove all items from library then rescan
