Hello,
I moved from raspberry pi / LE to a HP T630 thin client with Xubuntu 22.04. First installed Kodi from xubuntu repos (this was Kodi for Debian) and immediately noticed judder in 23.976 playback, made sure the tv switches to appropriate refresh rate, and though maybe it's Kodi for Debian causing this. Removed it, installed Kodi from the PPA - the same result. Tested with 23.976 sample from https://kodi.wiki/view/Samples, I get a frame jump approximately every 5 seconds.
So I decided to do some tests
On Xubuntu desktop, switched the refresh rate to 23.98 (as indicated by xrandr)
I used mpv to play the same sample - no judder
I used mpv as an external player in Kodi - judder.
I booted latest LE from USB and used the same sample - no judder.
I can't get my head around this. Any help is appreciated. I can post debug log later, when I get to the TV.
