Hi guys,

I have a setup where a Kodi SBC is connected to my LG TV with HDMI, and have a 2.1 soundbar that is connected to the TV through HDMI ARC.
The soundbar knows Dolby Digital, and also has an optical input if need be. Sadly it doesn't have an HDMI out, only in.

Can you please help me how to optimally adjust Kodi's audio settings for this setup? How can I get the best results?

Your TV handling of the audio becomes the issue/filter and the audio is largely dependant on what your TV outputs to the sound bar via ARC (not EARC?)

My TV has "Passthrough" in its audio settings, so I expect it not tampering with the audio at all.

Also, yes my TV only knows plain ARC, not eARC.
