Network Settings

Hi

I have recently returned to using Kodi.  I am in a new house I am in the process of building trying to watch the olympics.  I have downloaded the latest version 21.0 for my intel based Mac.

I run a Gigablue receiver running Enigma2 on 192.168.1.140.  My Mac is on 192.168.1.152.  An older configuration with the enigma box on 192.168.1.150 has been found but I have disabled it.

Kodi is working as I can watch BBC through the IPlayer add-on so the network is set up.  However I cannot see any TV channels and I cannot start the channel (or Group) manager from the PVR settings page. When I switch to TV the PVR manager says it is loading but I do not think it can find anything as it remains permanently on 0%.  I thought it might be a network issue.

I cannot find how to adjust the network setting which now appear to be completely automatic. When I look at the Info:Network page it gives me correct information except for the gateway which it lists as 10.0.20.1.  This is because I am connecting over a VPN but I normally this should not be an issue for Kodi?

When I disable the VPN and restart everything, the network settings reset to a gateway that is the router so the network does not appear to be the issue.

Is it possible that the installation has not loaded the channel manager?  Is there a way for me to install it separately or do I need to start again with a new install?

Thanks in advance,

Geoff

Thanks.

I have made some progress.  The IP address was wrong and is now corrected.  Kodi is accessing the enigma2 server and the channel manager is working and has picked up the data from the last time I used it.  I can see recordings and play them OK.

However when I try to stream a live program I get a message that says it cannot be played (with a red warning icon) or on other channels after a while trying it tells me the program cannot be played.

The channels are not listed.  However the guide comes up and shows the channels there but as I stated above, it does not let me play.  The Radio stations are listed and radio plays OK.

Using the web interface I get the same results so it is more likely to be an enigma2 issue but I would appreciate it if you could review the log I have pasted at:

Many BBC offerings are not big fans of typical VPN use to bypass geo-restrictions.  You'll need to outsmart them yourself.
