Kodi should switch to the appropriate colour space by itself.

HDR10 and HDR10+ PQ HDR content in the consumer domain will be BT.2020 (aka Rec.2020) Wide Colour Gamut. Any decent UHD HDR TV left in Auto (in terms of Colour Gamut/Colour Space) will automatically be switched between BT.709 and BT.2020 by Kodi - there should be no need to manually switch between gamuts.  If you are having to manually switch - there are bigger issues at play.

Hey Noggin if you are willing to test, their is some development on CoreELEC, MasterKeyxda has new DTB for a few boxes
reports of 25% so far for N2+ users, once he's confident it's fine, he's pushing a PR for nighties soon, he's asking for testers and I know you like to test

he posted the DTB here with more information, great news for 5 year old hardware!

yeah I shouldn't spam sorry, delete if you think it's appropriate. Just thought it might help OP in case he wanted to try out a faster CoreELEC.
