Kodi 21.1 - Shutdown menu: Standby and Hibernate are missing. How to fix, please?
#1
On my laptop, I installed Kodi 21.1 on a fresh MX linux 23.4 xfce using the according flatpak version from the MX Package installer.

On the same machine, a dual boot system, there is also Win11 Home installed with the same Kodi (but the 64-bit Win version, of course) but only the Win version of Kodi has a complete Shutdown menu.

Each Kodi installation is set to Estuary skin.

Does anybody know why there's no Standby and Hibernate in the Shutdown menu within the Kodi installation of MX Linux? Is there a way to fix this, please?

The skin will only display them if these conditions are met:

xml:
System.CanSuspend
System.CanHibernate

https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/master...onMenu.xml

Remove them and try using standby/hibernate. If they work then please file an issue on GitHub.
