My Xbox Series X still has normal access to the web server. I've tried cloning all the data to a brand new Kodi using Backup, to no avail.
After a lot of testing, I realized that the web server on my Xbox Series X is not stable either, and after every reboot of the host, the web server is not accessible.
It does recover with some manipulation, but I have absolutely no idea of the principle. I generally keep restarting Kodi and switching skins.
It is worth noting that if I shut down the host and turn it on again it is normal. My host mode is set to energy saving. And manually exit Kodi before shutting down.
So I think this is a very strange problem that may be related to the Xbox system.
Currently I can't use the web server on my Xbox Series S no matter what I try (I've cloned the full configuration of my Xbox Series X).

I am on Xbox Series X. My Kodi skin is Artic Fuse 1. I didn't try switching skins, but generally the web server never worked. I tried to access it from my PC (windows) different browsers, and android but never worked. I made sure all ports are opened in my router, switched between three routers, connected the Xbox directly to my PC, but nothing worked.

I tried reinstalling Kodi after a complete initialization (deleting everything) of my Xbox Series S. I noticed that the system prompts for insufficient disk space when installing Kodi, but of course there is perfectly adequate space. This prompts me before initialization and after initialization.
Is this possibly a problem with the packages provided by the store? It's unlikely that this is a fault with my machine, as installing other apps and games doesn't present a problem.
On the Xbox Series X, Kodi in retail mode can access the web server, but of course it's very unstable. I usually need to reboot multiple times and at some point it will suddenly gain access.
I think to continue to look into this issue, I need to first test if the problem exists with the UWP version on a Windows PC.
Tested the Kodi UWP version on a Windows PC with no problems. So this could be a Kodi UWP compatibility issue on Xbox.

I just noticed I was mentioned in the original thread on this issue. I use the Kodi remote app on my iPhone with my Xbox daily and have never experienced these issues. I have used it for years since Kodi came to Xbox way back with Kodi 17? Still works with 21.1
Near as I can tell I set it up just as easily as one can do with a Windows box. In fact I have used the iOS app with Windows just fine as well.
