Problems playing videos, it stops
#1
Hello,

Ubuntu server on a Gmktec G3
Im trying to play video, it starts and after a few seconds the image freezes. I think its a cache problem.
In my old RP3 I set the gpu memory in config.txt file, but I cant find this file in this setup

It is really a cache problem? How can i increase it ? Ive seen this pager > https://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Modify_the_video_cache
But I cant  locate this option in my kodi.

Thanks,

video acceleration is probably not default installed on a server install

this would indicate your kodi version is older than the revision that moved it into the GUI settings, use the previous version of the wiki for instructions for this case https://kodi.wiki/index.php?title=HOW-TO...did=217193
or you don't have the settings level set high enough to see the setting, in that case use these instructions to increase the setting level https://kodi.wiki/view/Settings

there is zero information in your post to know anything

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... Debug Log

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum
