I sort of had my heart set on getting the Acer Revo Aspire R3600, attaching an IR receiver (using my Logitech Harmony) and an external Blu-Ray drive. And then dual booting Ubuntu/Windows 7.
I would use Ubuntu with XBMC to playback pretty much everything, and Windows 7 for Blu-Ray..
But the ASRock is looking very appealing, much more aesthetically pleasing, and the fact that it has a built in Blu-Ray drive makes it look more in place.
The way I'm seeing it now is that I would basically be giving up wi-fi, a card reader, and front USB ports by getting the ASRock.
I plan on having it connected to a gigabit network over 99% of the time, so wi-fi isn't a big deal for me, same for card reader or front USB ports (would just connect card reader or usb drive to a computer on the network and share)
Anyone out there have any thoughts or opinions they would care to share?
