Hi all,
it's a pleasure to announce you that a new scraper is now available to replace Speedallociné.
The old SpeedAllociné doesn't work anymore and Allociné scraper will go same way soon, because Allociné is develloping a new website.
This new scraper is already available on SVN xbmc releases and can be downloaded using Installer Passion script or can be downloaded here.
We have named it Ciné-passion, it offers new possibilities and improvments I'll detailled to you bext.
-A lot of work have been made on film title scrapping to reduce scrapping error on most of tested films collections. This will reduce also your work ta have a good librairy after a scan!
-Scrapping speed of a film that is in our database is amazing. When a film is not in it, it will call a backend work that will seek for the film on differents websites to deliver you what it found!
This will take a little more time to scrape this film, but if you scan it another time, speed will be improved, because the film info have been recorded in database during first scan.
1 On client side (xbmc)
English language is now available next to French as you can see under, it's possible to get notation from IMDB or the one we collect in database.
2 On server side.
We have made an GUI available here: http://passion-xbmc.org/scraper/index2.php?Page=Home
Inscription is required to see full films infos and to be able to contribute to the database.
Off course, No inscription needed to use the scraper !
You can choose language by cliking on the Flag.
As you can see, you can find films by title or ids (IMDB, Allociné)
"Search" menu allow you to search for film that aren't already in the database. When finded, it's automatically added with informations collected on different websites. It's also available for xbmc scrapping function.
