@BigNoid, do you know if script continue fine in return data when using playlist, like Playlist.Count or Playlist.UnWatched (using Kodi Leia here).

What version is the Library Data Provider now then? The one that gave me trouble was 0.3.0 and when I try to update it is still version 0.3.0. Any way of manually installing the latest version via a Zip file?

The updated version is 0.3.2. You can check the Kodi add-on website, that shows the correct version. Manual shouldn't be needed but you can download it from there and install by zip.

Thanks man! I had to enable under System --> Add-ons: "Notify, but don't install updates". Then I could update to ver 0.3.2 (manually, the way I like it: if it ain't broke don't try to fix it). And I had to set "The Movie Database" as the information provider, NOT the iMDb (!).

Hallo @BigNoid

I also use the addon in Kodi 19 in my skin.
It still works, but I can't open it anymore. The user can set a custom path in my skin to display the content in the main menu.
In Kodi 18 the user could select paths from your addon, in Kodi 19 I get an error.
Kodi-->Videoaddons-->Library Data Provider-->Error.

I hope you or someone else can help me here.

@mikeSiLVO is it possible, that the addon provides a decoded fanart image path?
Currently the image path, the addon provides is e.g.:

on kodi 19 this is a issue, where the addon call "thumbnailImage" in the file called router.py for xbmcgui.ListItem which has been removed from kodi 19

people will see this error in the logfile

need to edited to

Thanks for this, just came upon an error in the UI while trying to open Video Add-ons>Library Data Provider, which was solved by that change. Your mentioned error was also present in the log.
