I'm not sure why you can't see the "EXTRA ART:" button in the Right List view. If you are browsing Movies, it should display right under "SHOW DEFAULT FLAGS FOR SETS".

UPDATE #9 - This will update the skin to v1.0.9

Additions

• I added two new buttons to the top menu..."SHOW CHARACTERART IF MISSING" and "SHOW ACTRESS ART IF MISSING". If "EXTRA ART" is set to "CHARACTERART" and the video is missing characterart, you can display actress art by enabling "SHOW ACTRESS ART IF MISSING". Same thing for missing actress art by enabling "SHOW CHARACTERART IF MISSING". These two buttons are disabled by default. Thanks to martinsvision for the request!
  
• I added media flags for Albums and Songs to List 3D and List 3D v2. Thanks to MB1968 for the request!
  

Bug fixes

• The fanart was not cycling for Albums in Shelf 3D v2 if there were multiple fanart images for the Artist. Thanks to MB1968 for reporting the bug!
  
• I added code to display the white or colored record label for Albums quite some time ago, but I'm just now realizing that I never added the button in SKIN SETTINGS ► ICONS AND IMAGES to allow you to switch between the image add-ons.
  
• The discart for layout 3D in music viz was positioned too low.
  
• The actor images were not displaying in the Right List view. Thanks to MB1968 for reporting the bug!
  

Maintenance

• The back of the jewel box will no longer display for Songs in List 3D and List 3D v2 unless the back image is present.
  
• I made some tweaks to the code for List 3D and List 3D v2 for music...adjusting the position of images, removing extraneous code, etc.
  
• I removed the "GO DIRECTLY TO FULL SCREEN WHEN PLAYING A SONG" button from SKIN SETTINGS ► GENERAL SETTINGS. This is now controlled by going to SETTINGS ► MEDIA ► MUSIC and selecting "SWITCH TO VISUALIZATION ON PLAYBACK".
  

I asked @henryjfry to add limit settings to clearart and clearlogo in the Artwork Beef add-on. You can download the new version (v0.28.8) by installing the henryjfry repo. Thanks to @henryjfry for the update!

Regarding the character art button in the topmenu, is that related to the characterart addon you mentioned lately in a PM?

No sir, those are different buttons. The new characterart button is just for the Right List view. The character poster button is tied to the add-on and visible in video info.

The newly added buttons are only visible in the movie library. I'm unware of characterart for movies. That's why I'm puzzled. You probably know where to find these images, don't you?

There's no clearlogo or cleartart available for my movieset "Can you feel it". The Kodiflix view displays the banner instead. Is that correct?



From a coding point of view: do you think it is possiblle to display the tv mediatype flag by default for episodes?

You should see the clearart/clearlogo for Movie Sets in KodiFlix. Do the images display if you select MANAGE ► CHOOSE ART from the Context menu?

You should also see the media type for episodes if the extension is entered in the episode filename.

They do. But is it correct that the banner is displayed when there's no clearlogo/art available? I had expected to see the set title.

Of course. But I'm lazy and just curious if the media type field for my episodes can be filled in once with the tv flag by using a hardcoded line. If it's possible and takes not too much time, please PM me.

Yes, for KodiFlix that is the correct behavior. If clearart/clearlogo is missing, the banner will display next. Then if the banner is missing it will display the title.

Ah...OK. Sure, you can add a line like this to the "mediatype" variable in IncludesVariables.xml...

Hello,

Non-programmer here and thank you for your skin.  I have a question.  How do you add additional sub-menu "slots"?  Reasoning, sometime ago, I added some Android native apps (MLB, NFL RedZone, Youtube as Favourites) along with some Kodi Native apps.  I then went to "some" premade menu (I can't remember which one) and add those to it's sub-menu and renamed it to SPORTS.  So now on the main menu I navigate to SPORTS, hit down and launch the app I want, watch it, and it exits back to Kodi main menu.  I noticed, it only have 5 sub menus and no way to add.  I looked at the PROGRAMS main menu it has many more.  Is there a way to add more?

Bug fix

• I noticed in the streamdetails table of my video database that there were a few audiocodecs listed as "aac lc" and "aac lc sbr". I added two new flags with those names to the audiocodec images.
  

There is also an update to the Colored Media Icons add-on available in my repo.

Has there been a change to your repo?  The link in post 1 doesnot work and I installed the zip from previously downloaded, but opening the repo in kodi states unable to connect.

Also, updating SKIN via updates in kodi seems to stuck at 0% on downloading.  Ok, well it moved to 1% after downloading after approximately 5 mins.

Quick update, downloading the repo from my android box, funny enough same name and version, but that one seems to work and connects to your repo so all good.  Skin downloading is painfully slow though.  My network is pretty solid 1gb up/down.

Last update, turns out it was my network connection for some reason, but all is now well.
