Release Arctic: Zephyr
(2015-02-12, 04:39)tomoffel Wrote: Wonderful skin! I really like your work!

But I have a problem Sad
If I open a movie info, then go to cast and select an actor, and press right for extended info, my kodi freezes :/
The background fades a little darker and then a freeze.. Any way to sort this out?

I use a Amazon firetv with a kodi apk, latest version of your skin and latest version of the extendedinfo script

Anyway, super clean, modern and functional skin, great work!
Make sure you only press right once. Sometimes it takes a moment to respond and if you keep pressing right you will overload everything.
Is the extendedinfo script from the official repo or git? I'm using official repo version.
Beyond this, you will have to post in the extendedinfo thread as I am not the author of that addon.

thanks for adding codecinfo. spacing seems a little off as the last line is about halfway outside the background but it gets the job done. cheers.

It looked fine when I tested - but checking on livetv now I realise that there is an extra line that shows stream info that doesnt show with normal videos. Will fix shortly.

Great work man.

Just noticed that the text in the new extra info option for icon view is white, which makes it unreadable if using the white theme.

Thanks for this skin. I loved Arctic and it's awesome to see it back, in a new form.

Hi Jurial,
This new view is perfect for episode view (shows episode thumb) but it overlaps. Could you remove the date?

Or put only the date of the selected episode, under the thumbnail.

EDIT: Changed my mind. Added an option from the side menu to turn off the wrap.

Thanks for that, appreciated.

I love the way it looks and the animation.

I wonder if it could somehow be possible to add the next aired show for each channel in the OSD?

I think i would be a nice info when changing channel, and another show is just about to start, but it not started just jet.
I cant seem to figure out how it should look, but maybe channel names and airing show could be made at bit smaller, and then add a 3rd line with "comming up:" or "Next show:"
Yeah I was thinking about this, but I couldn't get something that didn't look cluttered or reduce the number of items shown. I figure if you want to see what is next on there are plenty of options: epg timeline, tv channels, and pvrosdguide
However, I will keep thinking/trying possible ways to display the info as I can definitely see the utility of it.

Hi again... Well... Windows Media Center, which i have been using for tv up until Kodi 14, have another approach, and i really like it.
It displays a small part of the tvguide in the osd. Just for 2 or 3 channels, the one before and after.
Here is a screenshot i found on google: http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/1043/osdwindows7.jpg

That looks good, but not possible for more than one channel really. Also you can see the EPG onscreen for the current channel with the pvrosdguide command

Two more small requests:

Can you add "Library mode" to the context menu in the music section?
Is it possible to enable low list mode for the "media info" view?

Like I have said before, I really enjoy this skin. I switched back from Plex Home Theater to Kodi and I check your github on a daily base.
Just like last year, I have made you a small donation. Thanks for the great work.

Hey Jurialmunkey , congrats on a great looking skin. Love your work.

Is it possible to NOT show the fanart for movies and tv shows on the home screen when widgets are on ? And are you maybe planning a similar home widget system like you previous skin Arctic where you see the posters in a row when highlighting either movies , tv show or music etc...?

Thanks again.

I saw that but it doesn't disable the fanart on home screen, only in views.
