but is there a way to have multiple images for movies, tv shows, music, etc with random fanart (instead of create a folder with ALL franart for movies, tv shows,etc)?

You do not have to create any folder.
You need to scan your files and use the kodi library feature. It will not work with plain video files: http://kodi.wiki/view/Quick_start_guide#...he_library

Make sure you installed script.grab.fanart.

Then enable "Random" in skin settings -> backgrounds for movies, tv shows, music.

While playing music (either internet radio or mp3s) I do not see my visualization. When pressing "back" the screen switches back and forth but in none of them the visualization comes up. Any hint?

Please check if in Settings->Skin Settings->Disable background music visualisation is disabled.
Also check in Settings if you have enabled any visualisation.

as always thanks for your reply. But I mean NOT background image, but ICON image! Your skin apply a transparency and I wonder whether you can add the random image feature also for ICONS and not only backgrounds

What kind is your "Serien" item? Playlist? SmartPlaylist? Empty item?

EDIT: Is it only the background or the icon too?

EDIT: Have you tried changing slot? Which slot are you using?

To answer your questions first:

1. It is a an empty slot in my home which I named "Serien". Underneath (correct term?) are 6 favorites....
2. Maybe it is difficult to see in my screenshot but the "background" is fine, the "background logo" does not change.

In the past it worked flawlessly, so I guess the problem came with 1.40... ?

I do really appreciate your continuing and superfast replies. It shows how seriously you take your work.
