Yes. Did you even open the link that I posted? You can use a translation tool to read it:

So you still need to install the separate JRE addon.

Hi not sure where to post this.  Kodi 21 on a Nvidea Shield pro on Sony TV:  I am getting black screen on start up, I then have to press back button and wait and then I can open Kodi
What I have tried:   Clear data unistall and reinstall Kodi     Shut off IPv6    Problem is happening at 2 seperate locations both Sony tvs so cant be wire or HDMI ports
Cant figure this out any help would be greatly appreciated

It might be your TV.  Since you are using an external device to run Kodi you might be affected by something that the A80L just got a firmware fix for "Fixes an issue where No Signal is displayed when a 4K Blu-ray Disc player is powered on".
Maybe not, but see if you have an update available.

Thank you for response,  but this happens on my tv and my uncles and we live in 2 different places.  For me its not a major issue but for my uncle who is 81 he gets confused when he gets the black screen and it messes him up

I did check and my tv had no updates,  if you have any other ideas please let me know and thanks again

Is there any mediaplayer on the market besides 4k blurayplayers which can playback full uhd ISO with dolby vision using these mods?

I'm confused... Kodi IS a media player.

Sorry.
Was refering to standalone media devices such as Nvidia shield pro.

My question is. Which androidplayer on the market has a secondary HVENC encoder that will enable Kodi to play dolby vision from full uhd iso?

I feel like this needs to be asked again... is this a dead branch of Kodi?

depends on what you mean dead

last change was 9 months ago https://github.com/fandangos/Kodi-HDR-Ed...anches/all
- but does it even need any changes?

comparing this to xbmc master they can be automatically merged so just needs rebase to have a full v22 with menu https://github.com/fandangos/Kodi-HDR-Ed...c%3Amaster

omega is the stable release so just download it https://github.com/fandangos/Kodi-HDR-Edition/releases/

really just comes down to what you want

No need to keep asking the same question IMHO. The @fandangos build hasn't been updated since February 2023.

As I stated before, the KodiNerds Omega branch still has blu-ray menu support and is regularly updated:
