This begs the question, is there a way to get a comprehensive list of every studio that the scrapers have and we can build the file sets from that instead of the onez twozs?
I realize this seems to be a lot of trial and error, and scrape a movie, what has a studio, what doesn't... I assume there has to be some sort of master list somewhere that could be referenced?
Just thinking out loud.

I guess one could ask for a list to IMDB so similar, or query it from their API via some code, but I think that would be easier than trying to get a logo for each studio.
There must be thousands of old, deprecated and obscure studio names...

I'm trying to think of a way to source it from our userbase here. Folks here have to have 100s if not thousands that we could "extract" and pump into an excel sheet. That way, you could then have a true comprehensive named list of what the scrapers are pumping out, name the files accordingly, then a true sync of what is really out there... very little effort... per say.
I know I'm simplifying it, but that in my head, that is the A > D strategy to solve this randomized problem.... and I say randomized because of the examples like the Marv thing... that type of stuff. Nothing wrong dual images with having Marv and Marv Productions.... or whatever, just that the texture files accounts for both because people's scrapers created both at some point... most folks aren't renaming studio tags... and I would be shocked if they were... other critical tags... sure... but then again, my OCD doesn't trigger on studios names where other might do so... so I can't paint with such a broad brush there... but you got the idea...
If we could source what is known from some of our users here... like Karellen, myself, you, other heavy hitters who are willing, maybe we can parse this down and then going forward, maintenance will be a lot simpler once we get the file sizes sorted out....btw which I'm working on the scripting now.

Ok, I have the method sorted out on how to do the file resizing. How do you want me do this? In this thread? Or create a separate thread to demonstrate it?

And where an obscure studio doesn't have an image, I change it to another studio that has an image. Most movies have more than one studio.

Thanks to my OCD, and with the help of @kittmaster, I batch processed all non-compliant logos in the addon (mainly very old logos, before Kodi had clear guidelines to submit them) to put them in the proper format. I will need your help if you notice some logo in bad quality, bloated, distorted or any imperfection that could be corrected. Thanks in advance.
