Mudislander, I stopped the background fanart from panning, but the menu bar still hops up to mid-screen while the music is playing.

Since you made the option to show/hide the logo in the upper corner, I made a new one. I haven't wrapped my head around the name change yet... so

I thought I'd use the same blue 'K' that I use for settings (and I replaced the "startup" image with the blue K also)

I'm getting used to the name change, but am not a fan. I've had XBMC since the original Xbox and that's where I started fiddling with xml files to get it up and running. So I've a soft spot for it.

I like your logo - if you'd like it added to the MOD just post a copy - Original confluence on initial install is slipping

Mudislander, I know you had said that you wanted to keep the original confluence on install, but I wouldn't be too worried that it's slipping

CCM is WAY better than the original confluence.

When I upgraded from 3.0.1 to 3.0.3, my customisations where wiped clean. No biggie, I realize this skin is a WIP so that comes with the terrority.

Right now 3.0.3 provides me the "degree of user customisation to the default skin" that I'm looking for. I'm good.. Right here. Is there a way to not receive additional updates on this skin.

Removing the Hybrid repo doesn't really work because, CCM Helix is part of Superrepo now and I can't get rid of that repo.

Is there some code somewhere within the skin to disable auto updating of the skin?

Your settings should get maintained through the upgrades, occasionally there will be some lost settings eg: the submenu for settings in the last update, but that was an unavoidable bugfix.

What you could do is change your version number by editing the file "addon.xml" in the "skin.ccm.helix" folder and change the version number to something like version="9.0.0"

There are things you can do with a skin that just because you can, doesn't mean you should - I may have just crossed that line Been playing with a setting to change the main font colour. You can already do this by having a different theme or colour pack, but I was thinking more of the guys who wanted to change the main menu colour. Which is where I started - in my case lime green always start with way out examples. Once I'd done that I thought well wouldn't it look cool if all the blue font then became lime green - so I did that and it works.

However now came my problem, because I was only changing the main font colour instead of a whole new theme all the icons are based on blue, so now the question for you guys.

Is anyone interested in a setting to change the primary font colour (Blue) and if so should it be a global change or only on the Home page because if it's global and you change the blue to white there is a hell of a lot of white or if you change it to lime green it could clash with the blue icons, scroll bars etc. But I like global

What do you guys think? I can post screenshots tonight when I'm home if you want.

South African, right that's the one I forgot. Being a Canadian I get replies sometimes about my incorrect spelling of 'colour'. I just prefer to say that we're smart enough to able to handle an extra letter or two in our words.
