Has anyone confirmed if this also resolves any resolution resizing issue. My KODI resizes to a quarter of my 4K projector screen after I turn off my AVR and PJ and restart. I am confident that this is an HDMI handshake/EDID issue and hoping that this will fix it. I should be able to try this out in a couple of hours. *fingers crossed* Am almost about to dump KODI, as this issue is just too annoying.

Thank you, I'll try to solve the annoying issue on my Asrock BeeBox for HDMI audio loss and resolution changes.

Most welcome, glad i could help. The driver is actually out of beta and there is even a newer version which works as well.
Sadly the resolution issue is still happening for me but the Audio is stable at least. One step forward one step backward sadly.

Thanks for this great guide, helped solve my issues as when I had a secondary screen on display port now and again it would create a secondary device or just reset the settings of the HDMI connected one altogether.

How do I install this on a 64bit windows? It gives the error that I cannot install the EDID driver.

Not sure how to fix the hdmi but the audio is a setting in bios you need to adjust it cuts screen and audio after some time at least so it is on Asus in contacted Asus way back when to complain well they call it a power saving feature i then said but the Z97 mb is not a laptop board so how do you SLAM ouch i ask a little question and the supporter has a fit okay people who know me will know that i will not take no for an answer but in this case i was right i have the same issue with my Z87 and its also a power saver feature, my solution ditch the audio over hdmi. Thank you i hope i was a help to someone if not my apologize
