Kodi v21 "Omega" Beta 3 Mediaportal
#16
Hi Wink
have you found any solution for this? I preffer the old TSReader (without RTSP), because I could move back in time, pause as I wish, and it is not possible with the RTSP on (which is only working solution to play a TV channel now).

my setup: Mediaportal2 /windows 10 server - with AverMedia usb TV card

... after reading some forum posts with the same issue.....
confirmed... tried to uninstall KODI 21 and install the KODI 20 and it works INSTANTLY as it should (no RTSP on), timeshift/pause without any slightest issue.

I can confirm!
Kodi 20.5 does it all.
Working great for some days now.

This is for the latest Mediaportal 1.34 on a Windows 11 Pro x64 system with TV plugin TVServerKodi.dll 1.22.0.142.
Extra info: tested for clients "Fire TV stick 4k max (2nd gen)" + "Nvidia Shield TV Pro (2019)" + "Windows 11 Pro x64"

Something must have broken since Kodi 21 for the Mediaportal add-on.
Hopefully someone can detect and resolve the problem some time.

I have the same issue. Live TV will not play using Mediaportal backend running the latest server 21.0.2. I have just tried it with Kodi-21.1 and it's the same.
The streaming file opens on the Mediaportal server, and after a few seconds is closed.

Back to Kodi 20.2 for me.
