Is it possible to rename the custom widgets? Only skin I've been able to do this in is Mimic.

i took some screenshots to show off my setup to someone and I figured I may as well post it here. Again, great work on the mod, I didn't think anything could get me away from Aeon MQ5.

And completely understandable if it's too much work but I would like to request the option for custom widgets to use squares, like the favorites widget.

ps. I stopped using genesis and kissanime and just never removed them from my favorites, in fact I'm gonna do that now.

No all the latest is in GitHub, but as it requires changes in the helper script it's best to install from the repo.

Strange what your seeing with the widgets, it should have at least 12 options at the top to select from

I checked GitHub again today, and it still shows that the latest commit is from 3 days ago (version 1.0.60), I do not know what I am missing there. Could you please provide again the Github URL? Perhaps I have an outdated one.

In regards to the widgets, I see the options at the top when using the veritcal menu, but whatever option I select there stays the same for all menu options, so I cannot select a widget for TV Shows different from the one for Movies and so on. When I go into the settings to customize each option is when I run into only having three widgets to choose from. It looks like this:



Please let me know what I am missing here. Thanks.

Hi, For some reason github was not updated for the skin but it was for the helper script: https://github.com/im85288/script.arctic.zephyr.helper

If you try again the latest is there now, make sure to update the helper script too.

I cannot see your screenshot but please try again with the latest. The top widgets are global so they are working correctly, you should be able to select from at least 10 custom widgets for your menu items on top of the default ones provided.

Version 1.0.65 is in the repo. Only change is to remove a couple of unused settings and add some settings for showing cases in widgets separate from the views settings

If you try again the latest is there now, make sure to update the helper script too.

A couple of issues I see:

1. Still no rating is shown for movies rated R
2. When using the vertical menu, the movie or tv show logo is overlapping with the weather widget.

Another thing I found is an error in the kodi log being thrown by your helper script (I am running version 1.0.3 from Git):

ERROR: EXCEPTION Thrown (PythonToCppException) : -->Python callback/script returned the following error<--

Error Type: <type 'exceptions.ImportError'>
Error Contents: No module named BackgroundsUpdater

For example you can easily set the content from you favourite video addon as a custom widget that is shown when you highlight a particular menu item.

I have done this for bbc IPlayer etc

Hey, thanks so much for all your work on this skin for the regular updates!

I was wondering if there is any way of disabling the fake logo? It really doesn't fit in well for a lot of my movies, and I'd much rather have no logo than a fake one. If there is already an option, sorry I've missed it!

There is now an option for this in 1.0.66, along with a few other things like an option to show the title in the netflix view and some little fixes.

How do you use custom widget's, it asks me to name it then what? How do I make it show my YouTube favourites or something

Basically navigate to where you want a custom widget, eg video addons, Youtube, favourites then open the left menu (ie push left) and there's an option to set a custom widget (10 slots). Once you've set the custom widget add it as a widget to the relevant menu item in the customise menu section.
