I have a feeling that you didn't associate a correct launcher with the collection or source. It now falls back to the Retroplayer in Kodi and I guess that Euro Truck Simulator isnt a Retroplayer compatible game.
Try associating a launcher with the source/collection/rom to get a better result.

I have installed script.akl.nvgamestream to establish the connection to my gaming PC via Sunshine streaming.
But when I try to add the gamestreaming addon as a launcher, I get an error message.

Is this scenario currently supported?
Where is the error or what would be the recommendation for this constellation?
Check the threadstart on how to get the logs and share them so I can have a look on what is going wrong.
Take note that you will need Moonlight installed on the Raspberry Pi of course. Then select the correct path to the MoonlightQt location when setting up the launcher.
I havent tested it with MoonlightQt on Linux yet, only on Windows and Android.

Oh, I hadn't realized that. Thanks for your clarification. I had assumed that the AKL plugin contains the Moonlight functionality.
Then unfortunately I won't be able to use it in my constellation. In order to get MoonlightQt to run on the Raspberry Pi 3, it would be necessary to adapt the system so that HDMI-CEC no longer works. However, I don't want to do without this.

I'm trying to gather the artwork for my roms but nothing shows up after I add a source

Is it at all possible you can give a little more detail for using the existing certificates from Moonlight? I can't locate a single .key file on the system and the people at Moonlight refuse to help as this is not an official version.

The "play" context menu item didnt appear and nothing happened when I tried launching anything. When I transferred the kodi files to another kodi installation that I installed with the rpmfusion repo everything worked fine.
Now that we can only install the flatpak version under linux I'm running into this issue, I cannot launch any external script with either AEL or AKL. Anybody knows how to solve it?

Interesting, I haven't tested MoonlightQt on a Raspberry Pi yet, but I wonder why it would interfere with HDMI-CEC. Anybody else experience with MoonlightQt on Raspberry Pi?

You can also download and use OpenSSL to generate a certificate. It could be that the certificates are stored in your os certificate store.

Hi everybody!
I really don't get how to launch a simple .exe Windows file with AKL, I remember it was so easy with the old AEL...
Wiki wasn't really helpful, could you please explain how to simply achieve this please?
Thx

I would be curious to see this as well. Earlier in this thread I posed my process for the previous version on AKL, but just can't seem to get it working with this latest version.

Anybody has been able to make this work under flatpak? changing settings using flatseal doesn't make any difference.

I've tried looking through the documentation but I've been unable to get anything running off this addon. Primarily, when I try to run a source (this has been true for both emulated games or simple standalone ROMs) I keep getting the error that theres no configured launcher. But when I go into the edit page of the ROM itself, I dont get the option to manage a launcher. I can add a new one, but no matter what, when I choose the launcher as the default, I still get the same error message when I try to run it. Im at a loss for what I'm doing wrong.

I think it's supposed to work like this:

1. After launching AKL, open context menu and choose add -> Launcher -> Application launcher -> Directly execute the file itself -> Leave application arguments empty
2. Open context menu -> Add -> Source -> Standalone ROM / Application -> Select file you want to launch, set platform etc.
3. Go to Sources -> Edit ROM -> Add new launcher to ROM -> Select application launcher -> Set as default

But this is where hit a wall. I just get "Select emulator for .EXE file" every time I try to launch it, even though I've set the app launcher as default already.
