Out of curiosity, I pulled a zip of my AZ2 mod and installed it on my test instance of Matrix.  From what I can tell it worked fine.  That means all the required addons for AZ2 are available in Matrix (skinshortcuts, image select, autocomplete, and some icon resources).  I also tried a couple of the things that require additional addons (like setting a background and setting the selectbox highlight color).  Those addons also installed and worked.  I didn't try anything requiring skin.helper.service (or the backup/restore stuff), as I know those addons are still getting migrated to Matrix (the original author has retired from Kodi work AFAIK, so new folks are taking that on).  So my very initial, quick evaluation is that the core of AZ2 and at least some of the functionality provided by other addons works fine in Matrix.

Hi, fantastic work here! 

Trying to set this up with some previous settings I liked from my previous set up. 

One of them was to be able to see movies ratings in any view. With arctic looks like I can't see ratings for example with big icons view. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this?

Fixed it. Deleting simplecache did the trick

Deleting addon_data/script.module.simplecache/simplecache.db will force all the information to be retrieved again fresh.

Do this sparingly, however, as it tends to put extra load in the metadata servers, and on your own system, as the cache is "rebuilt".

Nothing changed in 18.7 that should have caused you to not be able to do that.  You do have to use colors that are named by the skin (look in the colors/default.xml file for the names) or hex colors, but that's been true since well before Kodi 18.  There may also be some default color names Kodi defines globally, but I'm not sure what they are.

hi, I realise work on this skin has slowed down but i've had to jump ship from Arctic Zephyr Leia Mod as it was crashing my client.

Is there any plan to add text to the horizontal icon layout for the home screen?

It's working on PC with X86 build, but not working in AndroidTV with ARMV8A build. The dependency on xbmc.python version 2.26.0 could not be satisfied.
If you need a log, I can get it for you.

This skin won't install in Matrix without changes to the add-on dependencies.

For anyone having that pesky Bug where the seconds are shown double in the Next Up Overlay, someone has made a fix and opened a pull request. Until this gets merged I have replaced the files manually and it works perfectly.
