And that's why I want to ask you something. I'm from Ukraine. And your skin fonts have not all cyrillic symbols. In UA it hasn't "і,ї,є" and in RU there's no "ё".
I'm aware of this issue and I am looking into the best way to do it. The ability to change fonts for Cyrillic and Asian characters will definitely be coming in the future!

2. Ok, that is your opinion and after thinking about it i will agree! But the german label '18' is out of the center and the font looks bigger if i compare it with the other german labels. And don't hurt me, but why are the mpaa labels colored!? Every other label is grey...
1. You can already disable the infotags in the left if you want (Skin Settings > Views > Show Info Tags). I have already added the "movie set" label for a number of views (e.g. banner list, medium list, info poster and a few others). I will add it to all views when I get a chance.

2. Ah I see... I need to find some better German classification logos that fit better.

If there is anything you need from the script just let me know. I am working on a basic redesign of the script, so if you have any ideas what could be implemented in a skin but is just not provided by the script there is a good chance that I could add or rework it in the future.
Thanks Smile

I think it is pretty good in terms of skinning. The one thing that would be great was if RCB used the skin's standard dialogs and context menu rather than having to skin those separately. For instance, the "edit rom collection" dialog should just use DialogAddonSettings.xml from the skin.

I sympathise with not getting musicvideos to scrape properly - I had the same problem for ages. Are they dvd-rips by any chance? If so: I had a lot of luck using the concertdb-scraper. It's quite forgiving and gave me a great scrape even before editing the filenames.
I've never used Confluence Mod so I'm not sure quite what you mean. All the main menu and sub menu items can be customised to be pretty much anything already.

Yeah, my music videos are a bit of a mixed bag of video clips of songs, dvds, concerts, and live clips from tv shows like Jools Holland. I just find that no matter how I scrape them, either some get missed or get the wrong info, wrong artwork etc. etc. and I find I just end up reverting to file view.

@jurialmunkey maybe you can add some typical templates to easy customice submenus. Many users (like me ) don't know how to add Musicvideo submenu or others... (yes now I know that have to add this ActivateWindow(Videos,MusicVideoTitles,return), but not everybody reads this forum)I think it'll make the skin customization easier...
In the distant future it will happen, but for the time being I would much rather focus my time on other aspects of the skin. I've dedicated a massive amount of my free time to this skin so if someone cannot be bothered to do a little bit of research themselves or come on here and ask a question then it is their loss not mine.

To make a custom item for in-progress is really easy. Create a new smart playlist in playlists with type set to "movies" and a rule that is "in progress" and "true". Save it as whatever you want then add it as a sub menu item with the type set to video playlist.

Also, you might find this wiki page useful for knowing what to use with the ActivateWindow command: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Ope...nd_Dialogs

Also, this is a list of the built-in functions you can use as a command: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Lis..._functions

I don't know what's better, your skin or your support. Thanks for this amazing work.

I will check if this is possible. But I am not sure it will be flexible enough for some stuff that I am doing in the dialog (e.g. dependencies between controls and stuff like this).
Today I spent some time to add chars. Can I post this fonts here? Maybe this will be useful.

Couldn't agree more. Also, great vibe in this thread!
noticed a small bug. on the fade theme when choosing art the not selected posters aren't faded. makes it a little difficult to see which artwork is selected when there are multiple similar ones.

I figured there was a reason for it along these lines. Its not the end of the world, but I think it would encourage more skin support if all that had to be skinned were the views and the info.

What font are the characters from? Or did you create them yourself from existing characters in the font? Send me a PM with a link.

lol thanks for that simple fix =) worked
Hi jurialmunkey,

can you please give me an advice how to change some words in your german translation.

I ask this because some of the german words are to long to fit in your design, e.g. buttons, that there are cut or scrolling. Here are some examples...

Movie or TV-Show information (scrolling)
- Refresh = Aktualisierung
- Artwork = Grafik wählen

Movie info tags (cut)
- movie set = Zusammenstellung

Maybe you can change the translation for this words to the following once!?

Refresh = Refresh
Artwork = Artwork
movie set = Collection

Thanx.
Efty

The wong artwork is annoying. What you could try is put the clips in one folder, concerts/dvd in another. Scrape the latter with ConcertDB. In case of missing entries and/or wrong info, rename filename to the title of the concert/dvd on moviedb.org. Works like a charm. ;-)

As for Confluence Mod: what it does is add Musicvideo's to the main menu out of the box (as a main meny item with submenu's like latest video's, artists, etc). Secondly it allows to add anything (playlists, addons etc) to the main menu and even rename them from the skin settings. Which would be an awesome addition to Arctic one day. Cool

Sounds like something worth delving into. Does this make it possible to add musicvideo's and plugins like youtube to the main menu? If so, do I add these lines from within the skin, or do I edit one of the xml-files?
@jurialmunkey

since yesterday i thought about the in my opinion not so good choosen watched flag (check mark) for movies and tv-shows. And i think the following idea is a clean and nice way to integrate watched content into your skin. I hope you agree and in some way it's technical possible.

The major colors of your skin are black, white and greyscales. So simply change the colored movie poster or the episode thumb of an watched one to greyscales and fade it a little bit out. Maybe the same way as you do it to the background fanart but a little bit darker.

It's just an idea...

Not a bad idea that at all and would make this skin even more distinct from the rest Big Grin.

Jurialmunkey I've just noticed a config setting to remove labels from favourites. When I do that I just have blank thumbs displayed. I may have missed it in the thread but have you enabled thumbs or artwork for favourites so you don't need labels?
