Release Pandoki - Pandora Internet Radio (Update 2nd Sept 2016: v0.9.3)
Sorry, my mistake. I saw kodi 18 python addons must be P2/3 compatible and figured there was code specific to 2 in Pandoki causing issues. We are using an external lib that is written in python 3 and we have been porting parts of it to P2 and limping along for a while. The hope is that we could finally transition to the full pandora library making tech updates much easier. So, not sure if we could upgrade to p3 in 18, or wait until 19.

I am currently using Pandora Slim on a Rasp PI3 with OSMC and build 17.8-225, as Pandora Slim was the only add I could get to work and that was the last build it seemed to work on. So I guess to answer your earlier question about why use it my answer is because it worked. Have used the Pandora and the Pandoki plugins in the past and there is a thread with a working Pandora build for Kodi 18 but it does not give a user interface with Yatse so I cannot use it on my headless audio server. So currently stuck. Thanks for keeping this addon going. Hopefully we can get back to a fully working build again.

Great addon.  It seems like the ability to save tracks is gone.  Was that removed?  I don't see it in the settings anymore.

Just wanted to say thanks to the creator of this addon. I'm a lover of Pandora. I know this took some work and it shows that you truly know what you're doing. Thanks Again  Big Grin

Kodi Leia 18.0 has been released.  We are working on a number of updates to Pandoki.  The updates will include
  • Race conditions caused by the much faster interrupt processing in Kodi 18.0
  • Changes from HTTP to HTTPS for maintaining the software
Thank you for your patience while we work to get the updates released.

The Pandoki Release Candidate (RC2) is now available for checkout with Kodi 18.0.  The zip file can be downloaded from
https://github.com/rocky4546/gominoa-xbm...6.test.zip
This will allow Pandoki 0.9.4-RC2 to be installed.  It will replace you current Pandoki application.

Hi
Thanks so much for update to Kodi 18, it's appreciate
It working nice
It missing dependency into your add-on (script.module.mutagen), so it could not install the add-on (windows and android)
Finally I installed separately the dependency , install is OK now.

RC4 is now out.  This version removes mutagen as a requirement and corrects some issues with switching channels and auto-play.  The mutagen has been in the list for a long time, so most should have it.  I don't like keeping unused scripts, but the only way I found to remove is to manually delete from the folder addons/script.module.mutagen directly.  It is so old I serious doubt any other addon uses it. One more thing, the link to the zip file has changed (following Kodi rules).  It is now.

If RC4 is good after a few days, I will merge it into the baseline for 0.9.4.

Only item I would like to see will take some work.  It is for security hardening and to manage passwords differently.

Hi,

First post on this forum, and English isn't my native language, so please bear with me if there's missing information...

I use Kodi 18 running on Raspberry (OSMC) and Artic Zephyr skin. I've installed Pandoki (latest release from rocky4546 repo) and it works fine.
I've been Pandoki from gominoa's repo before with the same situation... it looks like I have a plain interface without the possibility to "thumbs up" / "thumbs down" songs, and those standard Pandora features.

So I've understood I have to install skin.pandoki from these repo... I've tried and it couldn't be installed, and the kodi.log file indicates that The dependency on xbmc.gui 5.10.0 couldn't be satisfied.
5.10 shouldn't be a problem...
I understand that xbmc.gui change with each version of Kodi (with version 18 it should be 5.13) ...

so what am I missing?
Am I right saying that I have to install skin.pandoki to have the "complete" pandoki interface?
If so, what is the problem of this dependency?

#### I ran some tests and Thumbs up/down is currently not being called.  I will look into it after this release. ####

The thumbs up/down is available only from the Kodi main music screen.  If you go home and then the back button, you should get to the Kodi screen playing the music.  From that screen, tell Kodi that you really like the song (10) or don't like the song (0 or 1, I can't remember the lowest setting).  This will send a request to Pandora for Thumbs up or down.  There is currently no indication that it was successful.  I will look at adding that tonight.

 xbmc.gui for Kodi 18 is 5.14
You shouldn't need a special skin, but I need to take a look (I don't use the thumb up/down so have to experiment).
