Quick update:

Making some progress here. Immediate goal is to get core functionality working - e.g. simple notifications of goals in a selected league.

I'll need to disable the following for now:

• Red cards (but these will be available at some point)
  
• Yellow cards (won't be available)
  
• League tables (should be possible)
  
• Historic results (definitely possible)
  
• Enhanced notifications (e.g. image of goalscorer etc.) (still possible)
  

However, I should also be able to add the ability to select individual teams to follow.

My main problem is still that I can't regularly get data from the website, sometimes I get blank responses, so I'm trying to improve reliability.

I'll get there eventually...

Funnily enough, I don't actually use this addon myself. However, I do use the football scores code to power other scripts which I do use a lot so I'm still keen to get this working.

Getting very frustrated with this. I still can't get a regular stream of data from the website which means I've got to work out some additional error handling for those cases.

If I can sort that, I'll look to release a very very basic version of the script. By basic, I mean you won't be able to select leagues yet. Instead, you can pick from a list of available teams.

Once I've got that going, I'll take a look at getting the leagues working again.

Ok - I'm really struggling for time at the moment so I've decided to uploaded the basic version so people can give it a go.

As above, you can only select teams at the moment. Leagues will come at some point!

Please report any bugs here and I'll try to fix them when I can. NB there will be bugs, there's no way I've caught them all.

Also, if, say, you select Real Madrid and Barcelona as two of your teams that you want to get updates for, when those two teams play eachother, I think you'll get two notifications. It's on my "to do" list...

Strange - looks like the zip file got slightly corrupted. I've updated the file on the releases page (same link) and have checked that it installs ok on my system (linux). Have a go and let me know if it works now.

Seems like only a few leagues and teams are now supported. Any chance for an update including the Danish Superliga?
