This Chinese Plugin is very cool. Great work.
However, some of the plugin is out of dated - first one is the CNTV. Their website has changed quite a lot, no 'Bugu' or 'Xiyou' now.
So most of the functions CNTV plugin doesn't work. I would like to help on this - but don't know how to join you.

PS: I add the PPS.tv add-on and see there are Hong Kong drama, but i cannot watch. When i click on the drama, the XBMC minimize to the taskbar and nothing to show. Back to some months ago, i still could watch Hong Kong drama through PPStream application on Windows PC. But now, it has patched and people cannot watch HK drama if they are outside of Chnia.

Is there any way can watch HK drama outside of China by using this PPS.tv add-on on XBMC?

install it, it has "Azdrama" in it, you can watch TVB dramas and news as well as some Taiwan and Korean drama.

Do you know any add-on can watch HK drama and TV show other than this?

Is there a android version for this app?

However, the list of drama just have some, not as rich as PPStream. Wish they can add more drama to this app.

The nice thing about this app is that people could view live hk tv outside hk and china. And is selling installed in hardware legally in countries outside Asia. Great for Cantonese speaking people.

Yhank you for your Chinese add ons Addons for Chinese-eden and we can view Sohu, PPTV with breeze without using satellite tv technology using XBMC in Openelec OS, However we found that in the Window OS searching for a specific clip even in English is more direct by typing the name in the search box and those with the names will be reported.
However I tried to locate my clips in Youku in XBMC using the Eden addons and nothing was located. Can you explain why and how should I go about it.
In Youtube it is straight forward. Thanking you in advance.

Hi,

Yes, most of the chinese plugin also works on Android; unless the plugin is OS dependent e.g pps.TV.

PPS.TV playback works only on Windows as it uses the PPS player which is only available on Windows.

Many of the video playback are restricted to Mainland China due to copyright.
You may try using PPStream plugin which support proxy (proxy used needs to support transparent only)

The following repo zip's work for Frodo XBMC.

Both can be downloaded from the site:

Try to perform a "Force refresh"
i.e. System | Settings | Add-ons | Get Add-ons | Chinese Add-on Repository | Force reflesh
If failed, then reinstall both the repositories on your xbmc.

If you are referring to the video playback/menu access, they are both due to the site reponse time.
The site overloading is worst during evening time when there are many users accessing the site.

Cmeng I have uploaded some personal videos to Youku but using XMBC and search in Youku could NOT be located . In window system by going into Youku site , just type my name on search , they will be found. Why it does not work on XMBC on Youku ?Your help is appreciated. Thank you in advance
