Install 17.6 from the Play Store (or via the APK download from our download page), then add the Android Installer add-on from the official repo.
You can then use that to update to nightlies or alphas/betas as you wish.
Or alternatively you can use http://mirrors.kodi.tv to download the nightly/beta apks directly and install them yourself. For example the Android ARM nightly apk's are here, and the stable and beta versions are under releases.
