i think there is still a problem with the movie database
i just add dead silence movie from 2007. it find a dead silence movie from 1997 in the pop-up windows BUT scrap the good info from 2007...
Edit : and it's not the only movie to have that problem apparently

Hi,
Longtime lurker, first time post.
I am using:
MacOS 10.14.6
Macbook Air
Kodi 18.3
tmdb scraper v5.1.9
I have a question about the tmdb scraper. Or maybe the API. I'm not sure.
I use the "Movie Folder" naming convention for movies on my hard drive, keeping an individual movie in each folder. To keep the movies sorted properly when a title starts with an article like "The", I have been naming those folders as follows:
"The XXXXXXXXXX (2010)" => "XXXXXXXXXX, The (2010)"
For example, I would name the folder for "The Dead Don't Die (2019)" => "Dead Don't Die, The (2019)".
I've been doing this for years without a problem but something changed recently. I tried to scrape "Dead Don't Die, The (2019)". The scrape failed, saying in the log that no information was found. However, once I changed the name to "Dead Don't Die (2019)", then it scraped the data, no problem. To verify the problem, I removed The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) from my library, then attempted to re-scrape it. Same result. It failed when the name of the folder was "Ballad of Buster Scruggs, The (2018)" (even though that title worked fine before) and then succeeded when I changed the name to "Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018)"
Not a huge deal. I can leave the article off, I suppose. But it's going to be a real pain if I (God forbid) have to re-scan my 4000+ collection again at some point and I have to rename a large number of those folders. My question is, is this a problem with the scraper, or is this a problem with how the tmdb API now returns the results of a scan?
Thanks,
Kaojai

Yes, I'm aware of that option. In fact, I use it. But the reason I use that convention when naming my folders is to keep the files sorted properly on my hard drive.
