I had this same error - I downloaded via windows xbmc and then copied the folder to the pi.

I use puTTy to SSH into my Pi and after some quick research I am using WinSCP (with root access) to make changes to tree! I have installed custom Thematic Styles and also I am in the process of transferring extrapack now!

Hi,

Is it possible to choose the libray displayed when you press a Main Menu item?
For example, Id like to go directly to Music->artist when I press music on main menu, as i'd like to open HD_Movie smartplaylist when I press Movie.

Any way to save "now playing" video playlist? For now playing music playlist there is in the top menu/collection "save" and "clear" but I can't find anything like that for the now playing video playlist.

Hi,

I really like the new smart submenu, if it was possible to customize the items for this menu this skin would meet nearly all of my needs!

I've got some movies in a separate protected source.

Other skins allow me to "unlock sources" (or maybe unprotect) from the context menu in the movie views. For some reason this option is not available in ACE.

Would be nice if you could include that functionality.

cheers

Sorry, not yet submitted to repo. (only for testers/vip through Google Drive)

Thanks for the reply. Is the "watchlist" feature coming as well?

Cheers

First, MarcosQui, this is an awesome skin! Thank you for sharing your hard work with us.

I am having the same issue as IIIXstream was having. I realize that the Pandora script is not the best coded [or supported] xbmc add-on, and it is probably this funky coding that is causing the problem, but I have not had this issue with any other skin I have tried.

The Pandora script is different in that hitting the stop button while a song is playing doesn't completely stop playback. Instead, it stops playback of that particular song and then skips to the next song Pandora wants to bring up for you. Playback is stopped and the script is terminated when the user presses the back button while listening to a song from the main Pandora screen.

What is happening when opening a station on Pandora while using the Ace theme is that Ace automatically goes to the now playing music screen, fetches artwork for the artist, and opens one or more fetching lyrics windows [that never manage to fetch lyrics]. This isn't terrible in and of itself [although the failed lyrics fetching isn't pretty], but it prevents the user from ever closing Pandora. The only way I have found to close Pandora once a station has been opened while using the Ace theme is to fully reboot XBMC.

I understand that the Pandora script is probably poorly coded and it would be easy to blame this on the script and not the skin, but I have not seen this behavior when using any other skin. Also, Pandora is a major feature for a lot of users. The lack of Pandora support kept me using boxee even after I found XBMC to be better for all of my other media center needs.

Thanks again for the great skin, and for any help you can provide on this.

As a reference, here is a link to the most recent Pandora script: https://www.box.com/s/qs9qac68mn2nr0qb68bi

I have one bug and one little request if possible. First the bug, when using the Pandora add-on once the visualization starts I cant stop or exit Pandora, I don't have this problem on mq3 or any other skin. As for the request I was wondering if on the glass list view when it just shows the fanart and title if you could make a option to show the clear logo instead of the title in the list. That way it would show only the fanart and then to the left where the the titles are would be logos

First of all: Marcos you did a great job!! I really love your skin.

There is a small syntax error in your German translation:

msgctxt "#31103"
msgid "Highlights to remember"
msgstr "Highlights zur Errinerung"

must be:

msgctxt "#31103"
msgid "Highlights to remember"
msgstr "Highlights zur Erinnerung"

Thanks and keep up your stunning work.

First, awesome skin. It's the one skin I have switched to recently that my roommates actually appreciate!

I do have a quick question. So I am unable to get either logo's or clearart to display when using the Showcase view for TV Shows. It's only showing "Ace". I can run AD and download images, but I am trying to use my local files. And yes, I have gone into AD > Advanced and set it to "use local files". Is there something that I am missing?

My File Structure is as follows:

\\SERVER\Television\Series

The logo.jpg and clearart.jpg are in the Series folder. Is this the wrong naming convention? Sorry if I missed the answer in this, but I couldn't seem to find it.

I also have this problem of having to exit XBMC to get Pandora to stop once running. All I get is for Pandora to skip to next song trying to use <esc> <x> and any thing else I could think of. Been this way for a few updates of ACE, but not originally. I also used to get lyrics from cu lrc lyrics addon for Pandora, but lately I never get any results from the addon. Not sure how to determine if it's Ace, Pandora, or Cu lrc lyrics that is the problem though.

Maybe I should have posted my question in the RELEASE thread? Don't want to duplicate so posting a link only. Is this possible in this skin somehow?

Need to call a script from the Main Menu...

And where are my manners? AWESOME skin...love the look and feel and enjoying it so far...

UPDATE: I got it working using Favourites...see the post above if it helps anyone.

I can play LOCAL trailers by going through the INFO screen ad selecting TRAILER - but is there a "shortcut| to play local trailers while browsing through the MOVIE library? I'm using the SHELF viewtype currently. I assumed that if I hit the UP (or DOWN) arrow key - and option would pop up allowing me to easily play the trailer. I tried enabling KIOSK mode to see if that added in this option - but nothing.

Don't know about the rest of you but this is CRITICAL for the WAF to be high...if she can't easily and quickly get to the trailers...my whole setup is useless to her ;-)

Is this a configurable option (somewhere) - or tied to certain viewtypes - or should this be a "feature request". My wife has been spoiled by the way this is handled in AEON NOX with Kiosk mode enabled...

I do love this skin though otherwise.
