Had this happen to me just now. I tried reinstalling after clearing cache, and app data but that didn't work. It worked for me by plugging in ethernet (I was on Wi-Fi which was connected). It worked and after unplugging ethernet it continued to work on wifi. I did install the newest update 21.2 too so you might try that. Sideloaded 21.2 on a usb stick.

Hope someone can help!

I have been learning how to setup Arctic Fuze 2 to suit my needs and found something not working as I expected so thought I'd try to reinstall and strt again. I totally uninstalled kodi and reinstalled no problem, but when I try to install Arctic fuze 2, it says 5 add-ons are unavailable and is stopping me installing it I was so close to setting everything how I wanted, so this is frustrating!!! I would appreciate any solution to getting Arctic Fuse 2 up and running again, thx

Is there any way to get your custom skin? I haven't reached your level yet, hahaha. I'm developing a feature to integrate AI within Home Assistant and Kodi, and being able to work on it from there would be fabulous.

2 questions:
When i use autotrailler on home menu, the trailler star even if the focus is on the category name. Is it possible to lanch the trailler only if i put the focus on the widget item ?

Do you plan to add texte for focus et icon for unfocus for home and categories hub?

1. Sorry, no, not planned. Auto trailers are already a massive headache to manage in terms of the skin code and it would overcomplicate the code even more to add this type of granular control.
2. Do you mean a sort of mixed style where the unfocused items are icon-only but the focused item has text+icon? Am I understanding correctly? As in sort of similar to AH1? I hadn't thought of adding it personally but also happy to consider it as a feature request. Requests can be made on github.

Best skin I've used - great stuff.

One thing that doesn't seem to work for me.

I have the "Play Random Videos" context menu add in from the Kodi repo installed but when I go to the context menu on a folder of various videos stored on my NAS in Arctic Fuse 2 this option does not appear.

Works fine on the standard Estuary skin and also on the Arctic Horizon skins which I have used previously.

Any thoughts?

The skin shouldn't impact this. Skins don't have control over the context menu entries (I can control the little icons that appear on the right side but not the main section -- that's filled by Kodi or the Add-on in use).

Are you sure it isn't just off screen -- i.e. too many items so you need to scroll down the context menu?

I am a newbie so sorry if doing this wrong, I can't see option for new thread?

In the information panel, at the bottom there is a gallery. I would like to add local images to this gallery? I can see the images in the NFO file which direct to a web image. I added another line and changed the HTTP info to a local path for the image I require but it dosent work. I am probably entering this wrong, or it may not be possible. Hope someone can help with this, thx

There's not really a way to "add" images to the gallery but the gallery shows the "fanartx" artwork of fanart1 fanart2 etc. (up to fanart5) so you can leverage those by adding fanart

For local images you don't add them via nfo, you need to save the file using a specific filename in the movie's folder and then refresh the item using the refresh button in the info dialog. If it scanned correctly, the artwork will then show up using the "artwork" button under "fanart1" "fanart2" etc.

I have been experimenting with this and have one problem? I would like to stop downloading Artwork from TMDB and Fanart.tv. In Artwork settings I tried basic which didn't stop it. Then I tried whitelists and didn't select anything, still didn't stop it? When I say it didn't stop it, I mean the discart etc has stopped but not Fanart. When you add media I unchecked "Enable fanart" from Fanart.tv and unchecked "Enable fanart" from TMDB (This option is not available on TV shows?). This also hasn't stopped  the fanart downloading?

In a nutshell I would like only my Fanart which I can add how you have previously described. On that point you have a limit of 5 Fanarts. I was hoping you could possibly increase this to the maximuim Kodi allow of 20. The reason being for example, The Flash TV series has 9 seasons and I would like to have a seperate Fanart for each in the gallery.

I just upgraded all my Kodi instances to 21.1 and started using this skin, I have several apple tv 4k's running kodi and on all of them I get a "texture maker error" and the fanart and logo's do not show up on the skin.  On my windows desktop with the same shared media the logo's, and fanart all show up perfectly in the skin.

using emby to have a shared media library
using remote location storage (same remote location as all my media) for all thumbnails so that it keeps the kodi footprint smaller size on the apple tv devices.

Definitely not to many items on the context menu - in fact it's the opposite - not enough items to fill it.

Have done a bit more experimenting and found that I can see "Play Random" in the context menu if I navigate manually to the relevant folder via Settings/Media/Library/Videos. Interestingly, the context menu also has a lot more items on it, including "Change content", "Scan for new content", "Scan to library" etc, all of which a missing from the context menu when I try and access the folder via a widget in the skin.

Double checked in the Estuary skin and confirmed I can see the fully populated context menu with all of the above mentioned items and more listed if I navigate to Videos/Files/{folder name}.

Have tried of few different ways of getting to this folder using a widget in the skin by selecting "Shortcut" and navigating my way through the various options presented and while I can set the widget to display the folder OK and then access it's contents without any issue, if I activate the context menu on the folder the items listed are very limited and exclude all of those noted above.

Could it be a setting somewhere I am missing?

Hello everyone. i am having a problem with the setup on my fire tv cube. i am trying to install tmdb helper 5.4.19 but i always get the message "the dependency on script module jurialmonkey version 0.2.4 could not be satisfied". i am using kodi omega.

go to settings/system settings/add ons and change the "update official add ons from" setting to "any repository" rather than "official repositories only" this will correct the problem by allowing the tmdb helper add on to be updated by the https://jurialmunkey.github.io/repository.jurialmunkey/ repository rather than the official kodi repository.
