thank you!

go to settings/system settings/add ons and change the "update official add ons from" setting to "any repository" rather than "official repositories only" this will correct the problem by allowing the tmdb helper add on to be updated by the https://jurialmunkey.github.io/repository.jurialmunkey/ repository rather than the official kodi repository.

Follow ALL instructions in first post. If you cannot fulfill dependencies then you didn't follow all the instructions to allow updates from other repos.

Thanks for your reply jurialmunkey.

Definitely not to many items on the context menu - in fact it's the opposite - not enough items to fill it.

Have done a bit more experimenting and found that I can see "Play Random" in the context menu if I navigate manually to the relevant folder via Settings/Media/Library/Videos. Interestingly, the context menu also has a lot more items on it, including "Change content", "Scan for new content", "Scan to library" etc, all of which a missing from the context menu when I try and access the folder via a widget in the skin.

Double checked in the Estuary skin and confirmed I can see the fully populated context menu with all of the above mentioned items and more listed if I navigate to Videos/Files/{folder name}.

Have tried of few different ways of getting to this folder using a widget in the skin by selecting "Shortcut" and navigating my way through the various options presented and while I can set the widget to display the folder OK and then access it's contents without any issue, if I activate the context menu on the folder the items listed are very limited and exclude all of those noted above.

Could it be a setting somewhere I am missing?

Ah this sounds like that particular context menu addon doesn't work for widgets, only if you open *into* the library window. You'll probably find that if you try to open the context menu on a widget on the Estuary home screen then the same options will be missing there too.

If you want a similar shortcut like in Estuary, you can add an item to the side/top menu or your options menu etc. with a shortcut to Videos -- i.e. you want a shortcut that you click to *open* the library window at the directory you want, not a widget displaying the directory on the home screen.

It's a little confusing since AF2 can make the library and home screen windows look very similar so it isn't entirely obvious that these are different locations -- but effectively if you click a "link" on the home screen then where you open into is the library window and that will have the additional context options.

I am a newbie so sorry if doing this wrong, I can't see option for new thread?

In the information panel, at the bottom there is a gallery. I would like to add local images to this gallery? I can see the images in the NFO file which direct to a web image. I added another line and changed the HTTP info to a local path for the image I require but it dosent work. I am probably entering this wrong, or it may not be possible. Hope someone can help with this, thx

There's not really a way to "add" images to the gallery but the gallery shows the "fanartx" artwork of fanart1 fanart2 etc. (up to fanart5) so you can leverage those by adding fanart

For local images you don't add them via nfo, you need to save the file using a specific filename in the movie's folder and then refresh the item using the refresh button in the info dialog. If it scanned correctly, the artwork will then show up using the "artwork" button under "fanart1" "fanart2" etc.
Hi

Thx for pointing me in the right direction it has helped alot!

I have been experimenting with this and have one problem? I would like to stop downloading Artwork from TMDB and Fanart.tv. In Artwork settings I tried basic which didn't stop it. Then I tried whitelists and didn't select anything, still didn't stop it? When I say it didn't stop it, I mean the discart etc has stopped but not Fanart. When you add media I unchecked "Enable fanart" from Fanart.tv and unchecked "Enable fanart" from TMDB (This option is not available on TV shows?). This also hasn't stopped  the fanart downloading?

In a nutshell I would like only my Fanart which I can add how you have previously described. On that point you have a limit of 5 Fanarts. I was hoping you could possibly increase this to the maximuim Kodi allow of 20. The reason being for example, The Flash TV series has 9 seasons and I would like to have a seperate Fanart for each in the gallery.

Hope this is possible and thx for your assistance!

Richard

Not *currently* possible but definitely can be added as options.

The gallery currently displays local art and then adds on top the listing from TMDb for images -- so that's why it doesn't seem like the Kodi setting does anything, because this is artwork separate from your library scraped artwork. I would need to add a skin setting to disable the additional online artworks but that't not too difficult. And definitely number of extra fanart displayed can be increased without too much trouble.

Yes is a bit confusing, but I tried your suggestion and it did the trick - I can now see a full context menu including "Play random".👍

Many thanks for your assistance ... and patience 🙂

Thank you for the hint. I didn’t read the instructions carefully enough. Now everything is working perfectly.

Hi Jurialmunkey

That would be brilliant!

Just one thing tho! Although I don't want the majority of the online artworks, it is just for the gallery. For example I do still want the option for Logo (Title) artwork. Hope this dosent cause too much of an issue. You have a great GUI and I appreciate all your hard work, thx

'Could not correct to repository' jurialmunkey, any reason you can think of why he's getting that error?

I tried to help him the Ah2 forum but suggested he uses AF2 instead and post here. I'm curious what the issue is.

Impossible to tell without a log really. Could be anything from internet being down, a server issue, incorrect network setup, unsupported kodi version, or the user accidentally kicking over their router...

Yes that's what I meant - a toggle for gallery to enable/disable local/online individually rather than the current option which is just whether the whole gallery widget is on/off.

Is it okay if you can replace the "Options" with profile name?

EDIT: Also, is it possible to have weather widget when the focus is on the Options Menu?

i seem to be having an issue on the player, where when i click the button to skip to the next episode of what I'm watching, it asks me to select the player, youtube or another, and then it just defaults back to the show's episode list.  Anyone have any insight?

Once again a great job you have done here Jurialmunkey. I just updated my ancient Kodi box and put your new skin directly on it and it looks wonderful. The only thing I miss a little is the Infinity Wall. Why did you give it up? Are you still going to implement it?

No, many people complained about the navigation being confusing and it had also had a massive performance penalty (plus code was a pain to manage). There is a standard wall viewtype available in the library which is much simpler/straightforward to use and doesn't come with the performance downsides or the convoluted code management.
