Yes, I was able to find the discount code but then I figured I should try to add the homatics box and the Kinhank G1 and use the higher discount code so now I can get both boxes for 178$ which seems like a good deal as I need to replace 2 at home

I used this code for 12$ off 100$ 09CD08. I also added a 7$ socket set to enable the coupon. I had 6.50$ bonus bucks the am6b+ purchase and it used a max of 4$ in coins so Would come out to 86.95$ cad or 64.43$usd. I could also get the Homatics for 132.62cad. I just don't see a difference between the two except RGB and usb 3.0

I believe the homatics box has a 1000LAN NIC and the KinHank has 100LAN NIC. Not sure if there is any other clear differences more then the price and looks

Keep in mind even if you get a Kinhank with 1G ethernet the Android TV side on the device is not perfect. 

I am pretty sure it will transcode all audio to DD+ at best, so no passthrough.

Also I have read there are issues with always on HDR / DV.  So it forces HDR or DV at all times and there's no option to turn it off.

Kinhank promised updated firmware to fix this and has never delivered.

We know KinHanK are actually working on this box. I'd expect sales to double before years end and we should have confirmation of gig ethernet. Also hoping we get through to the team to get gig working (if not already done)

this isn't anything to do with Gig ethernet. Before the fix today all content was playing in HDR mode. so content that wasn't even HDR would be on that mode which means it was bad for any none HDR stuff!
but it matters very much. why? because they actually actively working on this, for one reason , they want to sell more boxes! 
this means once they see sales numbers increase, they are more likely to fix whatever neds fixing.
also the gig Ethernet might even be fixed! some people are saying it's working for them, once you guys get your new G1, we'll know if theirs been a fix and KINHANK did something without telling anyone.
BUT even if they didn't. I'm going to put some effort trying to contact them and let them know about the kodi community and how much sales they'll get if they give fix things that matter to us.
can you believe it? people where saying (cough signde) that KINHANK hasn't released an update since a year ago and we probably won't get any. and less than a week later , we got one!

In terms of value this box might be amazing! it won't be the best at one thing but a jack of all trades and for under $70, I don't think anything comes close!
