Using openelec and some settings I got off here: http://mrpfister.com/journal/setting-up-...pberry-pi/
Going to leave it on for about an hour to make sure there isnt any sync issues

So how did it go? What settings did you use? I am currently installing Linux so I can install openelec and I will see if I get the same results.

thx.. i've been running the xbmc app for a little while..it will usually go like 5-10 minutes without buffering.. otherwise works pretty good.. all under direct stream
also, does your version.. when you change the channel.. go back to the home screen (and then changes the channel and returns back to the app).. small cosmetic thing.. but a little weird

I'll look into that too... This is for the web interface? I dont remember if the xbmc addon had logo support (but I can add it)...

Runs great! I only tried up to 720 though since I dont feel like the amount of cpu required for 1080 is worth it (I have other stuff running on my comp).
I just followed the high cpu section on that site. Theres windows install instructions here: http://www.squirrelhosting.co.uk/hosting...o.php?id=9
EDIT: I did make a change to the vlc params. Will upload that version tonight.
EDIT2: Uploaded v2.2.1 - http://www.mediafire.com/?k7dayp52hhay4o1

yea, the xbmc addon/xbmc pvr versions never had logo support. its something I could look into though.

is 2.2.1 supposed to improven hdhomerun direct stream code? haven't downloaded it yet.. wanted to see if this version you made any chances

I have a problem where VLC crashes and I have to manually open VLC and dismiss the crash report popup, you can add this to the vlc command line to disable that (apparently)
--no-crashdump
--no-crashdump

Glad you got it work work for the Pi. I had openelect installed and everything works but I still have a lag issue, even at 720P. I wonder what this could be since it is plugged in directly to the router. I even set the ARM CPU speed to 800 MHz. Since I work, school, and a family it is hard for me to try this daily. I will try again when I have a chance and see if it works. At least I know you have it working without any out of sync issues so it is possible.
Thank you!
Thank you!
