It's the end of an era for Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes. I am pleased to announce the final update to the Dormer release branch of Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes. For those of you who remember, the Dormer branch was the original Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes and its legacy will extend forward in Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes Danvers and Arctic Zephyr: For Another Age. This release features a number of fixes and general stability enhancements as well as a final code check.

The team is refocusing its efforts to Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes Danvers now which means that Dormer has reached End of Life. What does that mean?

• We Will No Longer Provide Support for Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes (Dormer) for Kodi 16 Jarvis
  
• There Is a Slight Possibility for a Release to Toggle the Danvers Update Notifications (for distributions waiting for Krypton releases)
  
• No Further Fixes or Enhancements Will Be Made for Dormer

As per @guardianhope's earlier post, if you are using the dormer branch of AZ:FA (Kodi 16.1 Jarvis) then we won't be making making any further enhancements or changes. However we can look at adding the widget layouts to Arctic Zephyr: For Another Age which will feature a fresh new design for the home screen.
In short, this isn't something I can see getting fixed quickly for you - I will be focusing on other areas of development for the next few weeks but I'll see what I can do.

That download works, But i totaly destroyed my kodi by installing the skin

It is shit that there is this bug with the vertical menu ;( i love this skin mybe i can find an old version

I don't think you can really call it a bug. The skin was never designed to be used with a library of just 2 films
That said, I'm looking to see how much work would be involved in changing the widget to a panel view now as I think it could add something to the vertical layout

i just want to see the unseen films if i go on the film register and the unseen shows on the shows register that was how the last version doues it whitch i uesed till yesterday.

Download Link Fixed. Just click the link in the post. As a reminder: https://embycdn.northebridge.com/AZFA/do...3.2.40.zip. That's what I get for doing it late; I missed the 3.2.40 folder so the zip was there, just not in the right place.

To remove the black screen at Kodi start, if you ever encounter it (it's usually only encountered on GitHub downloads since it expects the compressed textures which GitHub does not have), you simply remove "skin.arctic.zephyr.fromashes" and Kodi will reload with Confluence. However, GitHub is really for advanced users who want access to dig into the code and textures only. They know how to install the skin from a GitHub generated zip whereas the other two downloads (Emby and the Enterprise CDN) are pre-packaged.

Now I did see your posts a few posts up but I pick certain days to respond to everyone's feedback (otherwise it would be all that I am doing). To address your concerns: that's not a bug in the vertical menu layout, the carousel like layout of the vertical menu was a decision made in AZ:E (Arctic Zephyr: Exploded/Kodi 15 Isengard) likely so people didn't have to scroll all the way back through large libraries.

Vertical menu hasn't been touched since Kodi 15 except for one item meaning there isn't a version of Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes that won't display content in the vertical menu which is clearly not suited for a library of two films.

With that said, @Habitual_Sinner stated what I already stated: AZ:FA on Kodi 16.1 Jarvis will not be getting any further enhancements or updates. You need to move up to AZ:FA Danvers on Kodi 17 Krypton for that.

Ok, so its not a bug its a feature ok, hopfully there will be a way to deaktivate the carousel in the next version .

one last question, is there any way i can show just the unseen films on films and the unseen shows on shows? or i have to search for an old version? i think i used the last version for about 2 years without any update, till i have to reinstall the HDD of the mac ;( sad but true, i have no save of the kodi files ;(
