One can request to join the kodi team for translating different projects, like Addons, Skins, Main.

I thought if one requests to join Skins, he will be only able to translate stuff that is in this project?!

It's shared. It's one big "team" which has different projects split main/skin/addons

Hmm.. yeah, that would by far be the easiest.


But we'll find another solution.

I have uploaded the new source file at my private Transifex.

So you can go there to translate it into German.

But the thing is that I have to do this manually now.
The way the file must be formatted for the Kodi Transifex project, my own Transifex won't let me auto update anymore because of syntax errors.
So I have to change some stuff around every time I upload a new source file to my Transifex project and back again afterwards.

Please remind me to update the source file once in a while

The "General" category should match the General label in the Chinese (Traditional) language file, as that label is used everywhere else in the skin for this category.
If the home screen category doesn't match the same category in the skin settings, it will be confusing for users.

I checked the Chinese (Traditional) language file, and there are some differences from your translations above.

In the language file the translations are (these are the words used in the Rapier skin settings etc.):

General: 一般設定
Pictures: 圖片
Power: 電源控制
Programs: 程式
Radio: 無線電廣播
TV: 電視
TV Shows: 電視劇

"一般設定" means "General Settings",therefore "一般"will match better.
Radio :無線電廣播 is too long and not necessary. 廣播 only will do the job.
TV Shows:電視劇 is less used in Taiwan than "電視影集".
Power:電源控制 means "Power Control" ,and "電源選項" means " Power Options" which I think is a better one.
It's OK to keep All other category names stay as is.

I will change and add the category images today and they will be available in the next version for Kodi Isengard, Jarvis, Krypton and Leia.
