#61
Not sure sorry. Again I don't have anything to test with . You may be out of luck. Im sure they are playable with some slight modification to the add-on

I think I understand why Stremium is missing the Sling Freestream channels. Freestream channels don't require an account/login to access. Stremium is not picking these up in the Public area. Since you don't need an account to access these, can you please look into this? Just go to sling.com and click on the "freestream" section.

to add them into stremium, you need a stremium account though right?

i found an old Stremium account with Sling linked in.

I cant see any of those channels you say "dont work" listed under Sling...
How the heck are you trying to play them in Kodi?
This is a thread for stremium addon.
If your not playing them via stremium - why are you posting here?

Please explain clearly

My Stremium account is under [email protected]. I picked up these channels in Stremium under the Sling account. They won't play however as they are Identified as needing a login when they are actually Freeview channels.

I mainly use this as a Kodi 20.2 add on (Stremium) to merge the channels for the guide.

Please go to sling.com and click on freeview - you don't need a logon id. You will find Hell's Kitchen (Filmrise) and the other channels I spoke of - they are not listed in the main Sling channels as they are not part of the paid service.

that wont help me. how will their channels playing on their website help??

If you want it resolved, I'd need to be provided a working Stremium login with the channels in question available in it.
If you can help, you can email me at: blog@matthuisman.nz

It was just an example to show that the channels exist and Stremium is picking them up but mis-categorizing them as paid when they are in fact public. I get it, you don't want to be bothered. I just thought I'd get some help since I paid for this.

thanks for providing the login.

Im pretty sure its a bug with Stremium themselves (not my addon)

If I go to: https://stremium.firesidechat.com/app/ch...LING_HTIME
That won't play via their website.
It errors 404 (not found) https://api.stremium.com/proxy/manifest....8UkC1JTKrP....

The add-on uses what they do so errors at the same point.

You need to understand that stremimum proxies Slings streams.
Its not simply streaming the same urls as them.
It proxies them so it can record them etc.

If you can confirm the streams dont work on their website either - then its best to contact Stremium to let them know some Sling channels are not working
Once they fix it - the addon should work too

Thanks. I thought you provided Stremium support - my mistake.

I can confirm the channels don't work on their website. Do you know if they have a support email or contact info?

I have opened an issue on the github Stremium site (interesting you are listed as support for the Add On) but can't find an alternative way to directly contact Stremium. Am I correct in thinking this is a third party you work with?

You've opened the issue on my GitHub.

This is just an unofficial third party add-on.
You need go to their website and contact them.
I have nothing to do with them.

I would like to add a couple streaming channels to my stremium channels, but feel limited in my knowledge.

In order to add a channel, you need the HLS URl, which from information shared is usually an .m3u8 file.

My understanding is to go into the browser's developer options to find but have been stuck from there.

(like in trying marquee sports network, I can find (https://marqueelive.akamaized.net/live-p...110089db50

Thought I'd ask to see if I am missing something simple.
