Found the "error". I work with the emby server and emby-next-gen addon. The discart must be in the emby database.
But actually I thought that there was some kind of fallback that directly accesses the discart.png in the album folder.
I saw something in the code of MusicVisualisation.xml.

Hello,
I have a bug with this skin : the main menu desappear from all the screens. I only have the wallpaper image without any possibility to get a menu and enter parameters of the skin or anaything else.
This bug appear suddenly when starting Kodi.
I can't solve it as I can't access any menu.

My installation :
Libreelec 12.01
Kodi 21.1
Aeon MQ 9 Mod v1.3.9

The only way to have Libreelec working is switching to another skin.

How can I solve this bug and get the main menu back ?

If you have local discart available and the discart setting for music viz is set to always visible or if available, it should display that image. Do you see the discart image when browsing Albums?

yes i've got for a few albums "discart.png" in every folder andmusic viz is set to always visible.
This was the reason i made this question before, no picture when browsing through the albums or when playing them.
Could it be that they must be named "cdart.png" (saw these names in MusicVisualisation.xml in 3D Layout)
I still suspect that the reason is that Kodi basically searches in the emby database.
When i load them manually in emby database kodi will show them now.

If you go to the music info screen from an album that has discart.png and select "GET THUMB", do you see DISCART in the list of art types and does it display the disc image on the right?

I just now noticed that code for "$INFO[Player.FolderPath]cdart.png" in MusicVisualisation.xml. Good catch...I need to remove that. All your disc images should be named discart.png.

I have been working on a "Piers" Mod of MQ 9 for Kodi 22, and I've been trying to fix the skin initialization problem. Since @ZsocaM5 reported that there was a hidden popup to install Skin Helper while the skin was initializing, I added SH to the list of required add-ons to the MQ 9 Piers Mod and now all is well...no more "perpetual loop" on a fresh install of the skin. I will make this change to MQ 9 Matrix, Nexus and Omega as well.

You will now see a Piers repo if you install the latest update to my repo. There is an Aeon MQ 9 Piers Mod available to install, but it is not yet an official release. I will be making tweaks to this mod as Kodi 22 development progresses.

@"lattsz9923" I just tried to install "Piers" from zip file and got "Failed to install dependency". I did not see "Piers" reference in your 4.0.3 repo.

Yeah, if you install from a zip file instead of the repo you'll have to manually install all the required add-ons before installing the skin.

Hmm...when you open Kodi 22 and go to my repo you don't see the Aeon MQ 9 - Piers Mod under Look and Feel > Skin?

I’ve installed the Piers Mod version with no problems on my RPi5 and 4 through your repo.

UPDATE #39 - This will update the skin to v1.4.0

Addition

I added code to display the album count for Music playlists. Thanks to Park for the request!
I added a new button named "SHOW ALBUM ART MASK" to the music viz settings. It is enabled by default and only visible for layouts 2, 3, 6 and 7. Turning this button off will hide the diffuse mask for the album art.

Bug fix

The discart was not displaying for Songs in View Type-18.

NOTICE
After installing this update, if you have the vertical menu selected you will need to copy the contents of MainMenu.xml.vertical to MainMenu.xml to restore the vertical menu.

This update will require a skin reset for new settings to be forced to settings.xml. To keep from losing your current settings, make sure you export your skin settings (SKIN SETTINGS > RESTORE SETTINGS > EXPORT SKIN SETTINGS) before you install the update. After installing the update you will need to reset the skin and then import the latest settings export.
