Mod Aeon MQ 9 Mod for Kodi 21 (Omega)

Doh...you weren't supposed to see that version yet. I'm going to make another tweak before I officially release it.

@latts9923 Sorry about that, I just thought that you did not have a chance to post it in your official Repo, yet. So this is like "Beta" test and I can say that it works flawlessly. Curious as to what the next tweak is.

Once again, thanks for your great work and dedication.

Just as another data point, I have not experienced any issues running v1.30.0 of Skin Helper and Metadatautils with the MQ9 Omega Mod.

@wags1 That is a good sign. I run "Metadateutils" v1.30.0 but reverted back to Skin Helper v1.20.3 from Fuchs Repo. I am not experiencing any issues, so far.

Haha…no worries. I need to tweak the music viz code before I post the update. You’re welcome!

Something has changed in Omega, because I've lost the ability to use SkinHelper.Player.Art.ClearLogo and SkinHelper.Player.Art.ClearLogos in music viz. I was hoping Skin Helper v1.30.0 would remedy that, but unfortunately it did not. Other than that, I haven't had any trouble using that version with MQ 9.

SkinHelper.Player.Art.ClearLogo also works in Kodi Omega, I also use it in Titan MOD.
Here is an example with PVR Radio.

Hmm...this is the code I'm using in music viz...
xml:
<texture background="true">$INFO[Window(home).Property(SkinHelper.Player.Art.ClearLogo)]</texture>

Are you using something similar? I can't get it to work with MQ 7, 8 or 9.

UPDATE #40 - This will update the skin to v1.4.1

Image Additions
  • I added "RATING:" to the front of the rating info as well as moved "My rating:" in front of the user rating (if available) for View Type-28. Thanks to andrzejls for the request!
  • I added four fonts options to SETTINGS ► APPEARANCE ► SKIN...Modern, Batman, Star Wars and Halloween.
Image

ImageMaintenance
  • I added code to the buttons that only apply to the MQ 8 Video Info screen in the Top Menu under ORGANIZE to not be visible if the Default Video Info button is enabled.
  • I changed the TV Show status label to the TV Show Genre for View Type-28. Thanks to andrzejls for the request!
  • I resized the grid layout in View Type-28 so that the items don't overlap the media flags. Thanks to andrzejls for the request!
  • I changed the order of the song info in music viz to BitRate/SampleRate/BitsPerSecond for all layouts. Thanks to jasn for the request!

NOTICE
After installing this update, if you have the vertical menu selected you will need to copy the contents of MainMenu.xml.vertical to MainMenu.xml to restore the vertical menu.

I just tried copying my settings from Metadatautils in Nexus to Omega and now the Skin Helper code is working. It must have been one of my music settings in Metadata.

Yes, this setting must be activated.

It looks like the final version of v1.1.4 needs dependency "script.skin.helper.colorpicker-2.0.3" before can be installed.

That's the one...I had it turned off in Omega. Thanks for your help!

@andrzejls
I have the Colorpicker add-on in my repo. If you go to SETTINGS ► SYSTEM ► ADD-ONS, do you have "UPDATE OFFICIAL ADD-ONS FROM" set to "ANY REPOSITORIES"?

@latts9923
"UPDATE OFFICIAL ADD-ONS FROM" set to "ANY REPOSITORIES" Was set to "OFFICIAL REPOSITORIES ONLY (DEFAULT), which is strange since I always change this settings to "ANY REPOSITORY". I will be checking this setting going forward. In the mean time I got "Colorpicker" from github, installed it and then v1.4.1 installed without any "hitches".
Thanks.

Hi @latts9923,

I tried everything to get the DTS-X Audio flag to show in your skin for a movie, but no luck.
This is the naming I used which I thought would do it:
The.Thing.1982.4k.10bit.HDR.DTS-X.mkv

Please show me the correct naming in order for the flag to show. It's driving me nuts.

Just to verify, are you looking at userdata/addon_data/skin.aeonmq9.mod/settings.xml?
solved using information you posted a few weeks ago (Post#942)..
BTW I will try later updae 1.41.1 to verify if everything it´s ok.
